Skate Anytime - Synthetic Ice for Hockey - Skateable Artificial Ice Tiles - Backyard Ice Rink - Expandable

Absolutely love all the Skate Anytime products I've purchased. That includes the Premier 10x18' ice surface, blue borders, 2 rubber rebounders, and the cleaner. Easy to assemble with a rubber mallet, and about as close to ice for shooting/stickhandling that I've used. Great for the 3 year old getting precious time on his skates in the time it takes to put them on. No driving to the rink during public skate times just to skate for 20 minutes. My favorite part is actually how the company says the friction is only 90% of ice, best using 5/8" blade sharpening, etc to give a realistic opinion of the product. I also love how we can use socks without immediately falling, great for having fun off skates. I havent used all the other synthetic ice brands, but I can't imagine how I'd want them to be better. Great product!

My 10 yo loves it. Great for stick handling and shooting. Good for edgework and skating otherwise. I personally didn’t like the feel of it compared to ice but for a training tool its the closest you can get. It does dull out skates very quickly, which isnt much of an issue for us as we have a sparx machine, but something to be aware of. Assembly is pretty easy with a rubber mallet. You will get plastic shavings off of it so be aware of that and where you place it.

I have had this product installed for close to 9 months now. I will say, it dulls your skates a lot quicker than you would like and it honestly is not even close to the feel of ice. I really wish there was a way to trial these products out here in the south, but sadly there really aren't any opportunities. I will say the saving grace is that it is nice to at least take practice shots on and stick handling. The puck doesn't even slide like it would on ice, but it's good enough. I would HIGHLY recommend that if you buy this, look into the resurfacing lubricants. The Skate Anytime lubricant seems to work well for a few days, but tends to fade quick. One bottle will not last long at all. I'm giving this 3 stars because I know this type of product will never be as good as ice, but it's been way more of a let down than any videos show you. Don't have high expectations and you'll love it.

We could not be happier with the product we received and Skate Anytime was amazing to work with. It was a Christmas gift for my 9 year old son and he has used it almost every day. Highly recommend these synthetic ice tiles; what started out as us looking for an ice hockey shooting pad quickly turned into us doing 180 sq ft of the synthetic ice tiles and we are thrilled with that decision. Mike was super helpful and really great to work with. We can’t recommend this product enough.

I like this product overall. I bought it for my daughter to play around on while hockey is shut down. Once you get moving it skates well, but certainly not anything near real ice. There are plastic shavings, but they’re easily cleaned off.

I cannot believe how awesome this product is. My son is 8years old in hockey camp and this has helped him leap way ahead of his class.
