Question 1

I've seen mention that urine spots were found with a black light. After using this product, did the spot no longer show with a black light?

Accepted Answer

Hi,

Thank you for your question. After using the Urine Destroyer, there is still a possibility the stain will show under a blacklight.

The Urine Destroyer is great at encapsulating phosphorous, the mineral in urine that glows under blacklight. It just may take quite a few treatments and extractions to get most of it out.

Question 2

Does this work on artificial turf?

Accepted Answer

Hi J. M. Sturgeon,

Thank you for your question, Yes, the Skout's Dog Urine Destroyer can be used on an artificial turf.

STEP 1
• Saturate soiled area and 1" - 2" perimeter with the product until you see some sudsing action.
STEP 2
• Wait 5 minutes, then wash away with a hose until the water runs clear and bubble-free. (Use a stiff bristle brush to loosen dirt if needed.)
STEP 3
• Allow area to dry naturally & completely before children or pets re-enter the area. A second application may be necessary for dried or stubborn stains. Also, we recommend testing a small inconspicuous space and letting it sit for a few mins then spraying it off with water really well.
