I am majorly impressed because I live in a windy area on the edge of the Colorado Rocky Mountains, and these poles literally held up against 100mph winds. My area is also quite rocky, so I haven't been able to push these flush into the ground, and they still hold up to all our wind storms and snow storms. I am seriously impressed with these poles! The only thing to note is that these are literally as described - it can only have distances up to 15 feet apart. Mine are 15 feet apart and are totally fine, but when I tried to do about 17 feet, they leaned heavily. So their marketing is completely accurate. If you have a fence you can reinforce them to (or I saw some photos with planters and blocks) then you should be totally fine, as it can support the tension.
