The threads and diameter of this unit will NOT fit the smaller base. Disappointed but my fault for not spending the hours cross referencing on the web to check the manufacturing data on my base and this filter. I now know why this was a used 50% off unit that someone else returned. Unless I spend another few hours finding the base for this it will prolly end up in the dumpster.
