Really liked it..at first. Did a nice job of styling my hair quickly. However, after 4 months it started to smell like it was burning and got extremely hot! I burned my ear using it. The plastic bristles also started to bend and lose shape.. And, I don't use it every day. It's poor quality and now I can't return it. I washed and conditioned my hair but I didn't add any other hair products. I have medium length very thick hair so to speed things up I used my blow dryer for a few minutes just to get rid of some excess moisture. Next I sectioned my hair and following the directions I did the back first, then the sides in three sections each, starting with the bottom layers. It didn't take long to get the hang of it. I used the High setting and it does get very hot. It didn't seem to take any longer than usual to do my hair and the end result was very smooth, soft, shiny straight hair.
