32Pcs Rock Climbing Holds for Kids, Climbing Wall Grips for Playground

I bought these TOPNEW 32 rock climbing holds to build a small climbing wall in my son’s bedroom as a fun DIY project, and overall it was an excellent purchase. The holds are colorful, sturdy, and perfect for kids. They look great on the wall and my son loves climbing on them. The variety of sizes and shapes is nice for a children’s climbing wall. However, I’m giving it 4 stars because there aren’t enough screws included for all the holds. Some of the screws that come with the set don’t fit properly with other climbing holds available on Amazon — some are too short (they don’t hold securely) and others are way too long, so you have to cut them. My suggestion for the seller: please include more screws with the matching nuts, or at least sell the correct screws separately. That would make the product much more convenient for DIY projects. Despite the screw issue, the climbing holds themselves are good quality and I’m happy with how the wall turned out for my son, totally worth the money.

The bright colors make the wall look fun and inviting, and they give the kids an easy way to follow “color routes” when they climb.Installation was straightforward: each hold came with the necessary mounting hardware, and once we had our board prepped and drilled, it was just a matter of bolting everything in place. The holds sit firmly with no wobble when tightened correctly. We’ve had them outside for a while now and they’ve handled regular use and changing weather without any cracks or fading so far.

Initial quality seems very good. It is a similar plastic to other outdoor play equipment I have had and those have held up well for me historically. The item is well made and a great budget option for kids. The variety of holds is great. However, make sure you read the dimensions in the product description. I cannot stress this enough. The bolts are only 2" long and thus only work on boards or plywood up to 1.25" thick. didn't catch this and had to counter bore all the backs so they would work with the 2x8 wall I had already constructed. This was very time consuming and frustrating at times, which was made worse by the fact that the holds do not all have the same thickness. This is my one criticism of the product. The portion the bolt recesses into varies from hold style to style, so I had to bore even deeper just to get many of them to fit. Save yourself time and read carefully.

I absolutely love these!! I've always wanted to incorporate holds into the functionality of this home and I can not wait to start adding them to walls and floor joists in the basement. If you want solid, authentic holds with all of the needed hardware, this is what you came for.

These pieces are great and the colors are vibrant. However, the bolt that is included is not long enough to go through the plastic piece and a simple 5/4 board. We bought for our daughters play gym to add a rock wall and had to repurchase all the bolts.

Easy installation and all hardware is included. One pack includes enough hand and foot holds for two 4ft by 8ft plywood sections. Kids loves there rock wall.
