These bones last a long time. Excellent to give dog when you’re going out.

Perfect size for my 37 lb. Australian Shepherd. She could definitely chew bigger ones, but this size is perfect as the bigger ones seem to upset her stomach. These are her most favorite snack.

My dog would always sit nearby when we ate, hoping to get something. I gave him one of these sticks and he went to his place and ate it. They must be REALLY good for him to ignore cooked meat and eat it instead.

Updated review : Originally My 6 mo (75lb Bernese Mt dog) puppy took one sniff and ran to the back of his crate, he hated them at first. He literally would run from them and would try to hide from them, he wouldn’t chew them, he wouldn't even take them, he sniffed them and turned his head away from the chew. My puppy has had all different kinds of treats and chews and I’ve never found something he doesn’t like, but he absolutely did not like these. Maybe it was the smell cause they have a funny smell. They we’re not cheap, and you can’t return them. Given that we couldn’t send them back, we thought we would just keep trying them w our pup to see if he would ever start liking them. We tried every day and each day he was a little less apprehensive until finally after a few days he started to show a little interest until finally after about a week he finally grabbed it and started chewing on it a bit. He still wasn’t completely sure but he has finally been chewing on one. So if your dog does not like them at first you may want to keep trying because you may hv success w getting him/her to eventually like them. It seems like they are long lasting and that’s exactly what we were looking for.

I like these a lot. They are dense and there are quite a bit of them in a bag. My puppy can chew through them pretty quickly but that is because he is breaking off chunks and swallowing them instead of actually gnawing on them and enjoying them. Puppies!! However, my old senior rescue pup missing a few teeth takes a bit longer He has a sensitive stomach and we have to be careful what we feed him or he will throw up but he's never had an issue with these. They aren't the cheapest treat but you do get quite a bit of them so the pain of the cost doesn't sting as bad.

Never buying this again! Made both of my dogs incredibly sick with multiple bouts of diarrhea and vomiting - so much so, my beagle even stopped eating and became so lethargic that we had to take her to the vet and start meds. Shame on me as a pet parent for not looking up the ingredients since of course they are not listed on their packaging which is concerning. “Wash your hands after touching” on the bag should warn everyone about these because we’re letting our dogs consume them orally!

These have been the favorite brand of bully sticks for my 18 month old lab for the last 9 months or so. We’ve tried nearly every brand out there and up until the last order, are the ones I had on auto ship. However, this last bag is super disappointing. The sticks are off color and thinner than usual. The quality seems to really have taken a nose dive. I hope it’s a fluke/subpar batch, but will have to start shopping around again for a better product.

It is not often that I jump on the computer to write a review for a dog treat, LOL. In fact, I'm pretty sure I have never written a review for a dog treat. But I have two very aggressive chewers - one a puppy - and I have bought a LOT of dog chews particularly over the past few months. In general I find most dog treats and specifically dog chews to NOT be cheap when it comes to price but to be VERY cheap when it comes to quality. Until I met Nature Gnaws! I bought one pack of the 12" bully sticks. These are such a great value for the price that I had to jump on and write a review. The pack I bought contains 5 very sizable chews and they're super long-lasting. Best of all, they don't have that nasty smell that some bully sticks do. It amounts to basically $5 a stick which is a deal IMO for how much chew-time they bring. I tried to snap a couple photos but they were not having it because they were too busy chewing! Happy Dogs + Happy Wallet = Happy Mom!
