I was sold on vitamin-C based facial serums years ago, ever since the dermatologist I used to see sold me a version of it at what I thought then and now was a ridiculously high price. Fortunately, this kind of product has come down in price in recent years, and I've tried a few different brands. So far, this version by MySmile is getting good marks. I know from experience that it will takes many weeks at best to make a definitive judgment on the total efficacy of a product like this but I can make a few valid assessment after using it for a relatively short time, now. The first of these is that it is economical to use. A few drops go a very long way, making the 1-ounce bottle last a long time. The brightening effect that this gives does not take long to notice; it's immediate in fact. So is the matte look this serum provides. I've had complexion issues of one type or another since adolescence including dullness during the winter weather. This was alleviated right away with this product leaving a natural-looking brightness without shine or the fake look that comes from covering up imperfections with some kind of concealer or make-up. I stopped using a moisturizer soon after I started using this serum because I found that I didn't need it anymore, but when I was still using one with it there was no problem in how it felt or looked when applying it after the serum had dried. The effect of this serum has been to give my face a more rested, healthier look. This product may not be the fountain of youth but I'm sold on it as a means for promoting a natural, fresh and healthy look for a lot cheaper than less effective stuff out there.

This Serum is a good mix, with 20% Vitamin C, great at Hydrating and plumping out your fine lines and wrinkles every morning!!! Good price for this dropper bottle that will last for a few months!! Every morning after washing your face it will give you the hydration you need to have a healthy glow and smooth skin!! Perfect!! Thank you!!!

As serums go, this is very reasonably priced. The medicine dropper dispenser works well. The serum is rather thin and runs easily. If you apply serum directly to your face, you'll want to lean back so the drops don't just quickly roll down your face. As a result, you'll use a little more product here than you will with thicker serums that more easily smooth over larger areas. No redness or irritation. Perfect before moisturizer application.

I normally love vitamin C and hyaluronic acid serums. Although I must admit, I use both types on their own, not combined like this. I am not sure if I received a bad batch, but this product seriously has the consistency of water. It runs off my hand like water, and shares none of the common characteristics I'm using to seeing from hyaluronic acid and vitamin C. No absorption and ultra watery consistency gets a firm no from me.

I absolutely love this stuff its not only is it a vitamin C, they have also added hyaluronic. Both crucial to skin repair and health.It can be used just alone or for better results with derma roller.💙💙💙 Its worth to mention that this should be stored away from the light because Light breaks down the product and makes it weaker, I just put it in my makeup table drawer after using, It should be kept out of the light, It likes dark spaces. I’m impressed with this little bottle of goodness. The ingredients list is impressive. I’d normally get a little redness after applying Hyaluronic acid but the main ingredient in this bottle is organic aloe leaf juice, it also has msm and chamomile which is great for soothing and calming. With a good vitamin c content this is a winner for me. Easy to apply it comes in brown glass bottle with pipette screw cap. The consistency is the same as water. Difficult to use sparingly but I try as I want the bottle to last. If applied after needling the face it stings like salt in a wound. I’ve used everyday for weeks and my complexion is improving. Working outdoors all day everyday, I’m at the age where the sun damage is showing. This is great for evening out the dark spots and even calms my skin when it’s red from the wind and sun. I’ll be buying this again and again.

I'd like to mention a few key things about using this product as some of the reviews seem to contradict each other.Firstly serums won't absorb well if you have other products on your skin that may actually be blocking their absorption. I always cleanse and tone with perfume/colour free products before I use a product like this. I wouldn't recommend that you use this on after you put on some moisturiser as moisturiser will probably create a barrier that will prevent absorption.This product absorbed into my skin easily. I haven't used it with a dermaroller yet but I plan to. My skin is quite sensitive but I haven't had any issues with this, although of course everyone is different.After use my skin does look and feel softer. I have only been using it for just over 2 weeks but it does seem to have also reduced the appearance of the few fine lines on my forehead.

I've used vitamin C serums like this one for a fair few years now and this came after much research with regards to how effective such serums/creams were when applied topically, and when good quality and used regularly they do indeed help with brightening and whitening / evening out the skin tone - especially if you have sun-damaged skin that shows as dark spots or areas of discoloration etc. They have worked well on this front for me when used consistently and this is partly because vitamin C is proven to inhibit tyrosinase which is an essential enzyme in producing pigment in your skin and when vitamin C inhibits that process it lightens discoloration from those sun spots and age spots and will also help soften redness from acne scars for the same reason when used consistently and regularly. But you have to use it regularly and consistently and this serum based on a 20% strength shouldn't be any different and has the inclusion of hyaluronic acid & jojoba to help the process along as well as MSM and aloe, so it's a great very complete serum.I like the consistency compared to a fair few other vitamin C serums I've tried as this isn't as sticky as some I've used and is easy to massage in with a few drops. It's at the higher end price wise for a 20% 30ml vitamin C serum these days (although used to be around average) as the the market is now flooded with them and many are very competitively priced now, though this is a good quality one.

This is a serum containing Vitamin C, Aloe Vera, MSM, Botanical Hyaluronic Acid and organic Jojoba oil. It is quite thin in consistency and dries on the face without leave any stickiness, greasiness or shine. Easy to apply with the dropper. It made my skin feel a little sensitive and really did not agree with the skin on my hands - I suffer with dermatitis so this made it sting. This has put me off using the product and I am disappointed - as it left my skin looking and feeling better.
