I must admit that I purchased three different adhesive putties because I have a scratching post for my cats that has a removable corrugated cardboard scratching board that must be replaced every so often, and must be adhered to two wooden strips inside the post. I was using all the adhesives I had on hand to replace one of the cardboards and nothing was working. I first tried Loctite, and at first it didn't stick. It's not the most malleable of the adhesives I bought, but when I figured out that I should put some on the cardboard and the rest on the wooden supports, it worked beautifully. My cats can now scratch to their heart's content and the cardboard isn't coming out. I've had this "toy" for the cats for a long time, but the adhesive was just wearing thin, and this was the first time that I had to replace the adhesive. Loctite is doing a fantastic job, and if it can stand up to my cats' scratching on this cardboard, it will certainly hold up papers and cardstock easily. I don't know how well it will work on shiny surfaces yet, but my guess is that it will do fine. I also appreciate the container in which Loctite comes. While it's not resealable so that air doesn't get into it, the cardboard container can be closed so that the adhesive won't fall out and get lost. That's a plus with cats around because it could pick up cat hairs--yuck! I am not at all disappointed in this product and would recommend it highly for any tough adhesive jobs.

I bought this mounting putty for my action figures for stop motion and it holds them in place pretty well which I really need since during stop motion you are screwed if a figure falls over during shooting. I do wish though that the putty would feel more stickier but maybe I just haven’t softened it up to it’s full potential because it feels kinda hard. Honestly for stop motion this will be really good to use since it will keep the figures in place so you don’t knock them over and they can’t fall. I am using this putty for 6 inch action figugres and it works well. It will also work for 12 inch figures as well if but put more putty to keep it in place since its a bigger figure. Also works with lego minifigures.

BEHOLD. This is my kpop (shrine) wall. Every poster and photocard you see in this picture is plastered to my wall with the Loctite mounting putty. I am in love with this product and use it religiously for anything that goes on my wall. It works great on small photocards and large posters alike. Some of those posters have been on my wall since last June and have not budged a single bit. The large posters you see, I have replaced a few times with different posters and I didn't need to use new putty for a new poster. I simply peeled off the putty that was on the old poster and put it on the new one. It STAYS sticky no matter what. You also do not need a whole lot. The tiniest bit can stick something and keep it there for forever. I have only bought this product once, I stuck everything you see in that picture to my wall, and I STILL have 1 1/2 sticks left. My one *tiny* complaint is that it does indeed leave a bit of residue on my wall. When peeling it off, sometimes it will leave a bit of putty behind, yet it isn't completely stuck there and can be taken off with some work. However, other than that I love this product and will definitely be buying more.

I purchased as a way to put posters up in my classroom. The walls are made of concrete and get sweaty at times causing the posters to fall off the wall. I bought this product thinking that it would keep my posters up. I had used other brands in the past that worked really well, but opted for this brand because of the price. Oh boy was I wrong. I used it to put up ABC posters in my classroom and they did last for awhile, but eventually fell down. Like most teachers, you don't have time to be re-hanging posters once your classroom is set up. It was great for the price, under $2 but not of great quality.
