Renpure Originals Biotin & Collagen Thickening Shampoo, 32 Fl Oz (Pack of 1)

Last year I tried a different shampoo because I have bright red hair and as anyone with red colored hair can attest, it's hard to maintain. I wash my hair once a week and it's always been pretty healthy, just slightly dry scalp and light flaking. I tried a Tresseme colored hair shampoo for a few months (I didn't realize until I saw a tiktok video that said it has formaldehyde in it), that was causing my scalp to scab up, bleed, and flake severely. It happened gradually, so it didn't click right away. I immediately tossed it and looked for something else. This shampoo looked like it had great reviews, so I decided to try it. For the price and amount of product, I felt like it wasn't a huge investment, and that this might let my scalp heal while I found a suitable shampoo. Let me tell you... I'm not looking for another shampoo anymore. My scalp is back to normal, it doesn't wash out my color too much, and this is now my shampoo. The scent isn't great, but I also use a color shampoo after this one for the mids and ends of my hair, a hair mask, and a few oils and styling products after, so it's no big deal. Love it!

I love this product! I've always suffered very thin, fine, and straight hair. But, I am 55 years old and my hair has never been so thick, full, and curly! I owe it all to this product!

This shampoo and conditioner is very nice. It has a light fragrance but it isn’t really a problem. It does make my hair very soft and shiny. I have very fine thin hair and a thickening shampoo and conditioner is a bonus. I also like that it is reasonably priced without all the chemicals in other products. I switched to this product after using another product for quite a few years. I really like Renpure better. HOWEVER, the pump is awful. I wasn’t able to get the pump on the shampoo to open and had to use a pump from another old bottle. My husband was able to open the pump on the conditioner, but he said it was very difficult and it turned very hard. Renpure, please make note of this and correct the problem. Docked a star because of the pump problem, but the product itself is really great.

this is a great product. For the price of a buck or 2 more than Tresseme, you get this. If you have extremely thin hair and hair that is 'going', this is a great product. Along with a hair dryer, this helps IMMENSELY in terms of thickness and the ability to comb through without pulling hair out. I use the conditioner every other wash. It really helps with the density of the hair. Smells good and lathers very well, which can NOT be said about shampoo's that are 3X the cost. I felt, with those, like i was pulling hair out trying to lather it. With this i can use more because of the price and it lathers easy. At this price point, dont look for miracles of regrowth. Wont happen. You cant even get that with products 3X the price. But you will be much more satisfied dealing with the hair you have. Very good product for the price. Use this and the conditioner every other wash. Should work if you just want some possibilities with thin or ultra thin hair. If you hate it you lose less than $8.

I just had to write a review ***** I got covid in August of 2021, and within the last month my hair started to fall out in chunks. Per my Dr. this is a side affect in some people. Im 56years old and healthy. I normally have very thick curly hair. Getting a regular brush in it before was tough. Since the shedding started I can pin it up with a small tiny clip. Not only was it falling out in chunks when shampooing but also when brushing it. I ordered this shampoo/conditioner and had to try it. I was a bit nervous not knowing if it would cause even more hair loss. I was blown away. The 3rd. Photo is after 1st use. Barely any hair fell out compared to second photo with my regular shampoo. My hair is still wet , but it feels softer and has more elasticity. In addition to covid causing hair loss it also changed the texture to dry , wirey, brittle and rough, crispy on ends. It also lost it curls. After 1 use. My hair feels soooo much softer. Im looking forward to continue using this. I will update review to let you know if I see new growth. Honestly im just super happy it stopped the chunks from falling out after first use. Great product so far. Thank you Update! October 2022. This product did prevent hair loss,however not sure what ingredient this product has in it , but definitely dries out your hair leaving it wirey and very course. Please use a good conditioner below scalp to prevent dryness.

The shampoo itself is fine and this 32oz bottle has always lasted me forever but it's not worth this much money. I've bought this product for nearly 10 years and always paid around $7 each bottle and now it's over $30?! I'll find something else

This is a large 32 oz of shampoo, I thought it was a really good deal. This is my first-time purchase so other then the good price I did not know what to expect. The good: * It smells great, to me it was some botanical scent, not flowery, not coconut, light and pleasant. * Very sudsy, feels great when I use it. * Tightly closed, no spillage during shipping (see related issue under The bad) The bad: * Strengthening hair is slow-acting, after 2 weeks of usage I do not see significant difference looking at the drain. * It is very hard to open. Thanks to that nothing spilled during shipping, but I had to use plyers to open the bottle. How to open: The cap of the bottle has three parts. The bottom part that is screwed on to the bottle, a thin ring, and a dispenser. To make the dispenser work it needs to pop up. To make it pop up you need to hold the thin ring steady and turn the dispenser counter-clockwise while pushing down. It took me a good number of tries to get it open, what finally worked was holding the ring with the thin-nose plyers. See my video for additional illustrations for opening the bottle. I have used this shampoo and conditioner for several years. It has a nice creamy texture. When I rinse I can feel thickness from the conditioner. I started using this product a few years ago because I was losing a lot of hair with the products I had been using. I now feel thickness and have significantly reduced the loss of hair. (I am in mid 80's)

I received damaged bottle

I've been using this along with the conditioner for 2 months straight now combined with biotin supplements and multivitamins. The difference in my hair is UNREAL. For the first few weeks, I was pretty unsure whether I like this or not. It seemed to make my hair feel knotted and a bit dry, but after I got a good technique down it made a huge difference. After the first month, I noticed the first big difference. My natural curls were 100% revived and I had no frizz or "poofiness" which I've NEVER experienced with my hair. It was soft and easy to style after that. In the weeks after that, I started noticing that my little baby hairs started thickening up! My hair falls out quite a bit due to PCOS and the regrowth was always short and manageable with some hairspray, now there's A LOT and it's all longer than I've seen before! I also noticed a little less fallout during the shower/brushing and throughout the day but honestly not a huge difference. You HAVE to make sure with the shampoo that you're washing your scalp. I spread the shampoo throughout my hair and use a shampoo brush to rub my scalp. I don't focus on any other part of my hair while shampooing. The bubbles that rinse out will wash the length. I then generously apply the conditioner and let it sit for MINIMUM 5 minutes. It does take a while to start seeing a difference and you HAVE to be patience. It's been 2 months for me and I am only starting to see a change now. You can't expect it to work over night, and you can't expect it to work on its own. I am taking vitamins as well, so definitely consider talking to your doctor about what vitamins you can supplement with or to check if you have any deficiencies. Overall, I have really enjoyed using this product and will continue to buy it as its really made a difference in my hair and how I feel about my hair. The scent is very minimal and doesn't linger so its also safe for scent-free work environments in my personal opinion. The bottles are also HUGE and have lasted me 2 months so far and will likely last me a few more. I have collar bone length, bleached and color treated hair for reference. I would 100% recommend!
