I've been cutting hair since secondary school to make extra money, I'm now in my 40's and it as more of a hobby cutting my own hair along with my son's and other close friends. This Babyliss is as close as you can get to a modified Andi's T outliner in performance for a cordless trimmer. I had the Cordless detailer and resold it after one use, I just knew it wasn't worth the money. All the reviews I read about the cordless Andi's T outliner where terrible so I stayed away from it. I wanted the Gold FX but couldn't find it for a good price in the UK then I can across these trimmers and I'm very happy that I did. Absolutely love this trimmer. I shared a picture of my beard cut this morning and my mate asked if I had used the cutthroat. As sharp as this thing cuts it's also very gentle, my son wouldn't let me shape him up with corded Andi's or the detailer but he didn't even bat an eyelid at this trimmer. The sound is smooth and doesn't frighten him. Can't recommend this enough specially for this price, it's cheaper than the outliner and fair better made, you feal the quality in your hand. Before this the Andi's T Edjer was my favourite cordless trimmer but it's discontinued. I was considering the Slimline pro but the Babyliss is only £10 more so thought let me try it.
