After watching Ina on the food network here in the Uk, I was excited to snap up her recipe book - for delicious meals and sides. It doesn’t disappoint and I’ve even attempted to make one of the fantastic foodie dishes. Tasted good too!

A beautiful book full of delicious recipes, Ina never fails to bring a collection of tantalising ingredients to the table to create yummy dishes.

Lovely recipes

I have loved Ina's TV show for years and decided to buy one of her cookbooks as I love cooking and trying new things. Sadly there were no recipes here that wowed me, in fact I doubt I will actually cook any of them. A lot of the recipes are obviously aimed at Americans and no adjustments have been made to cater for a British, or anywhere else, audience. So disappointed as Ina is great on TV but these dishes are nothing like any of the things I have seen her cook on the Barefoot Contessa show. I'll stick to Nigella for now!

I think that I’ve got most of Ina Garten’s cookbooks and I’ve always found her practical and easy to follow with good wholesome recipes. The recipes in this book seem to be more specialised which is fine if you wish to develop your culinary skills. As with all American cookbooks it takes a while to get used to the terminology and measurements.

Another delightful book full of wonderful things to bake and cook from one of the best TV chefs.

Ina Garten writes books that are as good to look at SAR to cook from. The layout is pure pleasure - colourful highly organized easy to read and a photo for every recipe. And the recipes are really well researched and reproducible in the Home Kitchen. Recipes I have tried and really liked are the -applesauce cake with bourbon raisins and bourbon cream cheese frosting; -skillet roasted chicken and potatoes -baked cod with garlic and herb Ritz crackers -English Lemon Posset -baked rigatoni and lamb Ragu -Brussel sprout pizza carbonara -chocolate dipped brown sugar shortbread. All have been worthy of repeat
