Tastes good; smells pleasantly of jaggery; dissolves almost instantly; comes in a resealable pouch that’s made using quality plastic; just as potent as crystalline sugar: one needn’t add much; free from chemical treatment, bearing a light brownish tint; chemical-free; bleaching agent free. It’s good! If the 100% shipping charge deters you, know that ordering in bulk will save you good money! I ordered five 1/2kg pouches at once, and the delivery charge went down from Rs. 58/bag to Rs. 85 for the entire five bags ! ‘Sweet’ deal, eh ? If you really like it and want to do away with the shipping charge entirely in your subsequent order, orders worth Rs 600 in the north and Rs. 750 for rest of India attract no delivery charge.

Healthy Product
We have been using Kohli brand khandsari for nearly two years. We are very happy with the quality and consistency of this sugar. The packaging is good and a pack of 500 grams is just the right size for our use, we are a family of two. NB you can’t use this sugar for making kheer, halua or any desert, as it will not give that much sweetness.

Unopened packs turned black before expiry date
Disappointed. One pack developed fungus shortly after opening, and the two unopened packs have already turned black and rock-solid. I expected much better quality and shelf life for natural sugar. Would not recommend based on this experience.

Good but need more pure form
It is good in taste but has lot of impurities. I would expect some filtering in the process as my child is not ready to drink.milk as the impurities are seen floating on milk. 3 stars for the genuine taste

Price on the higher side
Cost is on the higher side with shipping charges.if 2kg and 5kg packs are provided it would be cost worthy.The product is good and the seller should start selling in higher configs if they are serious in doing business.Personally I used kolhu and satvyk brands.kolhu had better texture,color and taste compared to satvyk but because of price I switched to satvyk.Hope the seller starts selling higher quantities.
