Great sunset feature!
I am really impressed with the Lumie Bodyclock glow Pros I was looking for an alarm clock that had a sunset feature as that is what I use primarily use. The ability to choose different timings and brightness levels is really great! I think the range of sound is more than enough and they were of acceptable quality. The sunrise alarm is as expected. I basically get up at the same time each morning…so the lack of multiple alarms was not an issue for me. Personally I found this clock rather easy to set using the manual. I also love the automatic display darkening feature. The lamp itself looks great! It’s well made and feels sturdy. The previous lamp brand I had years ago was pretty unsightly and I was worried about the aesthetics of the Lumie but I have to say I was pleasantly surprised. The cons - The alarm button. To see the display at night you must push a button…sometimes this button might be your alarm which you have now turned off! -Additionally I have found that when the sunset simulation is running an alarm press does not turn on the alarm ( you must switch it off, activate the alarm and then activate the sunset feature ). I am not a big fan of this as a whole. -I will echo that the lamp is a bit dimmer than I thought it would be. This is not a problem for me, I wake up to any light, but may be a consideration for others For me the pros far outweigh the cons of this lamp. I would encourage anyone who needs a good looking sunset/sunrise simulation alarm to purchase.

❤️
Bottom line: I love this alarm clock and I hope the same is available if I ever need to buy another. PROS 1- I found setting up the clock to be relatively easy and, more importantly, I found the instructions easy to remember. (One alarm clock I purchased and returned had ridiculous, Rube Goldberg-like, instructions and I was late to work many times due to the alarm not being set correctly.) 2- The sounds available for the alarm are better than I have found elsewhere. (Though I do not know who thought goats would be good option?) I like their version of the standard alarm beep, the cafe din, and the birds. 3- I love a 24-hour alarm clock; you never have to worry about accidentally setting the alarm for PM instead of AM. Very happy with this feature. 4- I love (LOVE! ❤️) that the display shuts off completely when the room is dark. CONS 1- It does feel and look cheaply made, but it serves its purpose. 2- I do not like that the light does not shut-off once you turn off the alarm, you have to dim it manually. (Supposedly, the light is to turn off automatically after 90 minutes, but mine does not.) 3- I would have liked to be able to program the sunset feature to begin every evening.

Love this clock! I wake up at 5am sometimes 4 am for work, this definitely helps me wake up less groggy

All the features you want but no unnecessary bells and whistles
I wanted a nice looking sunrise alarm clock but all of the ones I came across were network controlled by phone apps. I just wanted something simple that I could operate bed side without fiddling with a phone and all the simpler types had hit or miss reviews. This was a great compromise, though a little pricier than I originally intended. But it looks nice and is a good size, not too obtrusive, in my opinion. I love the red/orange light for bedtime when you're ready to turn the lights off but not quite ready for sleep. The only issue I have is the design of the control buttons. I sometimes have to grope around to find the button I'm looking for.

Nice clock with confusing features
I’ve had this clock for several months now and I still need the directions to change the alarm time. I literally cannot figure out how to change settings etc. also the sound doesn’t increase from quiet to louder like I was hoping. So when the light fully illuminates the sound comes on full blast. OR I just can’t figure out how to change that. Honestly they could’ve done a far better job on the functions. Very confusing. Otherwise the light is a nice glow and there are several choices of sound. I just can’t easily change the time of the alarm or the clock. Maybe it’s just me

Love it!!
I wanted a clock that didn’t force me to purchase an app or look at my phone before bed. I love this clock so much. It has a selection of sounds and a great sunrise simulator that always wakes me up on time. I first tried the cheaper version but I like this one because you can change the alarm sounds or have an option to extend the sunrise to 45 minutes. The other one is great if you don’t mind waking up to beeps.

Game changer, though not without a few cons.
This product has been a complete game changer waking up for work in the morning, especially in the winter months. The sunrise fade is gentle and gradual, easing you into the light unlike the Philips Wiz lightbulb I tried which was incredibly jarring and would jolt me awake with the sudden brightness. The sunset feature is nice too, I use it in conjunction with the cricket sound effect. Now for the cons (but not dealbreakers): -The sound effects are quite loud, even on the lowest setting. My DIY workaround was to use packing tape to tape all the sound holes (they’re on one of the front sides, on the back, as well as under the clock. It was kind of a pain to get it all.) I can still hear it super well on the lowest setting, even with all the holes taped up. Maybe if you’re a super heavy sleeper it’s not an issue, but I’m a light sleeper and wish I didn’t have to figure out this DIY fix. The sounds also differ in volume. For instance, the quietest wave crashes are quieter than the goats (I really wanted to use the goats sound, but it’s too loud for me in the morning.) -I wish you could just tap the top of the clock to fully turn off the light/alarm, but you have to hold down the “-“ button (or push it a bunch of times) to turn the light off all the way. Same for turning on the sunrise: you have to push/hold the “+” to get it to whatever brightness you want, and then also push the “Sunset” button (for the cricket sound, in my case) for it to start. It would just be easier and more ergonomic to tap the clock. -The buttons are not backlit or glow in the dark in any way. This is kind of good for the night, but kind of annoying when I have to use my phone flashlight to see them when turning on the light. Bottom line: it has just the right amount of features, not too overwhelming with settings, but for the three-figure price it should have a better UI.

Good Sunrise Clock and Bedside Lamp
I like this as a sunrise clock and also a bedside lamp. It is simple to use and does not have unnecessary features (I don’t need a radio). I like that I can adjust the length of the sunrise and sunset, and that the time display goes dark when the room is dark and the light is out. If I want to see the time during the night I can just tap the light and the time will flash on for a couple seconds. The only complaint I have is that the control buttons are not lit when the light is on, the time display is on, and the room is dark. I have to fumble on the display for the right buttons while trying not to wake up my sleeping partner.
