Spectacular at cleaning your hard floors in a very short amount of time
This TINECO Floor One S3 Cordless Hardwood Floor Cleaner is spectacular at cleaning your hard floors in a very short amount of time but if you have pets or people that shed a lot of hair, it's not quite as quick and easy. (Also note that this is for hard floors only. It is not for vacuuming carpeting or rugs.)So basically, this is a floor machine that vacuums and scrubs your hard floors simultaneously, sucking up the dirty water and leaving your floors super clean. The floors dry so quickly, I wondered if it was a steam cleaner, too, but it's not. It just vacuums up the dirty water so well that there is very little left on the floor. And wow, the water in the dirty water tank is filthy! It also has a stand that also serves as a charging dock. It has easily changeable brush rollers and filters. The dirty water tank is easy to remove and clean. There is even a self cleaning cycle that cleans the brush roller very well. Basically, you only clean manually the dirty water tank and the area where the brush roller is installed and the HEPA filter, which takes very little time. It's a quality, well built, machine but the manual leaves a bit to be desired for such an expensive machine. For example, it comes with an extra roller and HEPA filter, which I assumed were to be used when the installed ones wore out. The manual doesn't really make it clear. Also, there are two accessory holders but it doesn't say where they go. (They attach to the sides of the charging stand.)The machine speaks to you - giving you status reports on the charging status, telling you when to run the self cleaning cycle, when to refill the clean water tank, when to empty the dirty water tank, etc. This is actually pretty great. And it's extremely gratifying to see how dirty the water is after cleaning. Best of all, it's super quiet and maneuvers very well. I am currently living in an apartment with mostly hard flooring and I can use this machine at night without worries of disturbing any neighbors.I was upset at first when it told me to start the self cleaning cycle after only about 10 minutes of floor cleaning. And then, I saw that the HEPA filter must be fully dry before reinstalling it in the machine after rinsing it as directed. It says the same thing about the roller brush. Then I realized THAT'S why you get an extra set included in the box!Next, I realized that hair is what clogs the dirty water tank and gets stuck on the roller brush, prompting the self cleaning cycle. I have a household that includes a couple of dogs that shed a lot and several people with very long hair. So for me, doing a quick once over with a dust mop before using this machine works much better. Less hair means I can clean the floors for much longer before I have to clean the tank and the brush roller. If you don't have pet fur or a lot of human hair to deal with, you can skip the dust mopping but if you do have pets, be ready to stop a lot unless you use this machine almost every day to keep the hair and fur to a minimum. I also ordered 2 more HEPA filters and 2 more roller brushes so I can clean the entire apartment. It comes with a cleaning concentrate (which is awesome, BTW) but you can also clean with plain water.I have some unusual cleaning challenges. We had a house fire so we are living in an apartment until the house is repaired. We are working in the sooty house daily and come home covered in soot. I also have a broken wrist that is in a cast. Despite the hair challenges, this machine does an amazing job of cleaning up after us and I can manage it easily one handed. Although the owner's manual isn't the best, you will get the hang of it after using it a little and it's truly excellent. I will update if I have issues in the future but so far, I am very pleased with how well this works.UPDATE: I am now in love with this machine and cannot imagine life without it. My oldest dog is 18 and failing fast. We take her out in a doggy stroller because it is too far for her to walk and the other day, she had a pee accident in the hallway and elevator before I saw it. Tineco Floor One S3 to the rescue. I was able to clean the hallway and elevator floor quickly and easily. Have just ordered more cleaning solution because a) it's really good stuff and b) it will void your warranty if you use another brand.2nd UPDATE: I am still in love with this machine. My floors have never looked better and it's so quick and easy to clean up a sudden mess. Once you get used to cleaning the dirty water tank and refilling the clean water/cleaning solution tank a couple of times if you are cleaning ALL of your floors, it still saves you so much time and is much easier than even a swiffer and the floors are left very, very clean. Do learn from my mistake, though. Don't leave dirty water in the dirty water tank overnight - rinse it out right away after you are done cleaning. If you leave it overnight (or longer), the plastic tank will pick up a gross smell. If that happens, you need to clean it out and then let it sit with a bleach and water solution inside the tank for a day and then, maybe even let it sit out in the sun for a couple of hours to get rid of the smell. This won't happen if you clean out the tank right after you finish using it or after a self-cleaning cycle has been run. The machine will tell you to do this so listen to it.

It's 100% worth the money
I waited a couple months before writing my review because I wanted it to be fair. I'll address some of the other common comments first:Yes, the tanks are small. It's a small vacuum. If you want a bigger tank, get a bigger vacuum. There's photos & a description that says 0.6 Liters. If you buy this expecting a bigger tank, that's on you.Yes, you have to clean it after every use. I assumed most people clean their vacuums after using them, so I'm not sure why this is a big deal for some. It has a self-cleaning button. Hit that, let it run, then empty everything. It takes less than 5 minutes to clean it properly. It's not a deal-breaker. It's not "exhausting". It also doesn't take longer to clean the machine than it takes to clean the floor. That's a bit dramatic. My review: The battery life is great. I can do my entire downstairs, roughly 1200 sq ft, on one charge. It says the run time is 35 minutes but it's at least an hour on a full charge. I do have to refill my clean tank a few times, which isn't a big deal. I empty the dirty tank maybe twice, then do self-cleaning & clean everything really well before putting it back together. It doesn't leave streaks. We have hardwood and vinyl flooring and it works great on both. It picks up everything with 1-2 passes. Dried mud from the dogs gets 2 passes. Someone said dog drool takes 5-6 passes...if that's the case you're probably not using it right. My only complaint: it doesn't get all the way to the baseboards. There's about an inch gap between the vacuum and baseboard. I have to get my regular mop & go around the edges of the room. It's not a deal-breaker for me. I only use the Tineco solution, so doing the baseboards allows me to use PineSol or Fabuloso.I needed something I can use on a heavy cleaning day or on a rainy day to get the dog prints up. This does both. I can mop the kitchen & clean the machine in 10 minutes before bed at night. I don't dread mopping anymore and I use it more frequently than I thought I would because it's convenient. The best part is you're not just sloshing around dirty water that smells good. It's clean.

Wet Dry Vacuum great concept. Tineco S3 as your Wet Dry Vacuum may be not.
Thisis a long time review. I purchased this machine in Mar 2023. So I have used it for over three and half years now.TL; DR: Wet Dry Vacumm concept is excellent and if you have not tries it you must as it takes less effort to vacuum and them mop the floors.Review on Tineco S3: As i said earlier the wet dry vacuum concept is excellent but I this machine has its problems. In the three and half years of ownership I have had this die on me 4 times. Two times within the 2 year warrenty and 2 times after the warrenty period has expired. Like many here have said that the machine starts and stops within seconds. I have had the same issue all four times. And yes, all 4 times I had to send the machine back to them to fix. First two fixes were in warrenty so i did not have to pay for it. Third one costed me $115 (106 + 9 tax) out of pocket to fix it. And within 5 months of getting it fixed it broke again for the forth time. Now they want $115 again. So now instead on paying this I have decided to try another wet dry vacuum.Like many of the positive reviews I loved this machine. I still do. But this is a long time use review, and not just a review after first few months of use.

Game Changer!
Iโm a Virgo. Cleaning is my love language. I love a clean house but when it came to cleaning floors I use to DREAD it with every part of my being. My kitchen, laundry, and bathrooms on the first floor are all tile. My home office, formal dining, and living room are all hard wood hand scraped flooring.Old way of cleaning consisted of 2 hours of vacuuming every area and then another 2 hours of me mopping every surface and changing mopping pads every few rooms because theyโd get soggy and gross. This Tineco is a life changer. I was able to clean every room mentioned above in 45 minutes and that was only because I got so excited I moved every bit of furniture to REALLY clean!Pros: Self Cleaning - SO EASY to use. One cap of cleaner , fill with water and go! Itโs cordless and light which is every persons dream when trying to clean and move around large areas. Super easy to clean after each use. I feel good knowing I can maintain this investment because I can clean every working part quickly and without tools. I have ALOT of hair and I was concerned this wouldnโt stand up to the suction needed for my bathrooms. Not only did it get every piece of hair, it DID NOT collect on the roller (which is my major issue with a standard vacuum). It collects all debris and hair into the container and although super disgusting to clean afterwards - it was a huge indication to me that this machine means business. Lastly it uses just the right amount of water and suction depending on how dirty the floors are. The machine automatically detects this for you so all you have to do is be there to guide it as it cleans. It has some serious power so be ready to feel like youโre walking a small dog as this things GOES!Cons: it wonโt last too long on a charge so be prepared to clean every room you need to at once. I share this as a tip because it takes a VERY long time to get back to full charge. I used up 70% of the battery power but was ok with that because I got everything done I needed to!The only other con I have is that you should be ready to get a hobby or something because you will definitely have ALOT of time left on your hands. So be ready to find another plan for the remainder of your day. HahahaI am beyond excited about this Tineco and hope you get this ASAP if you want a fast way to keep your hard floors clean.

MUST HAVE!! Used on LVP flooring
I cannot recommend this product more. I purchased the "ONE S3" model and I love it. The shipping was so fast, since Sunday I have used this at least four times. We have 3 large (indoor) dogs, and a toddler who usually ends up with food on the floor, so this has been an absolute game changer. I have been looking for one for months and the ones that I have wanted and have great reviews all end up being way more than I wanted to spend (including this one). You are getting what you pay for and I would say MORE. The actual quality is seriously better than our Dyson vacuum, which was almost double and only vacuums. This is extremely easy to use, I did not even have to read instructions. It does have a "voice" that will tell you what you need to do. Ex. empty the dirty water tank. Almost all of our floors are LVP besides the bedrooms, which are carpet. So over 2,000 is LVP and so S3 has been such a great buy. My only regret is I did not buy it sooner. I actually asked on Facebook for recommendations and this brand overall was the reoccurring name. It maneuvers well but my model does not lay flat, that was not a deal breaker for me and honestly has been just fine. Out flooring is a grey/brown color but cooler tones so dirt hides well but you can feel that the floor is not clean when barefoot. I knew the floors would not be great but know seeing what they should feel like and look like (especially when the sun shines across them) it is amazing. There is not "sticky" residue left behind and you can see the path you took with the vacuum too. It is not bulky so it would not be hard to find a spot for it. The battery only lasts for about 30 minutes depending on the mode you select. At first I was concerned with the amount I needed to do and doing it with one charge. It is almost perfect. I have used it to pick up food after supper with my toddler (GAME CHANGER!!). If you are concerned about the price, I get it but this is one GREAT investment and well worth every penny!

Works well but didn't last
Got this back in 2020 and loved it. It was very convenient not to have to vacuum, although, it did have a hard time picking up larger debris. I would usually have to refill the clean water tank amd empty the forty tank at least once if I tried to clean my whole downstairs. But it sure made the floors clean. Especially at first, I could wipe with a paper towel after and it was spotless. It doesn't get along the edges of walls/ cabinets all that well though. We had an issue with the motor about a year or two in. The customer service was helpful and sent us a box to mail the machine back to them at their expense. They fixed it and sent it back in a couple of weeks. Over the last year though, I've noticed the machine was leaking a bit/ not getting all the water up and now it simply won't run. I havent called customer service because I just haven't had the time and honestly, my floors are dirty. I bought a different brand mop as a replacement. I would have expected this one to last longer than 3.5 years. We did use it frequently, once a week or so. While the machine is self cleaning, you do need to clean a number of parts and the roller gets gunked up with debris and hair, etc. It's easy enough, but saying it's self cleaning is a bit of a misnomer. I do recommend using the cleaning solution because otherwise, the machine does get a funky smell after some time. All in all, it's a decent mop. I know others who have it and haven't had the same issues as me, but I don't know that they use theirs as often.

Greatest Invention Known To Mankind
Guys, if you are on the fence on whether to buy this or not (especially with the price) just DO IT. I have been eyeing wet vacuums/mops for almost 4 years now, but could never justify spending the money. I finally took the plunge when it was $150 off for Black Friday and it was worth every penny. We have three pets; two long haired dogs, a cat, and a toddler. Combine the three of those in a smaller home and itโs a recipe for hair, dirt, and heaven knows what else everywhere. I use this vacuum every other day and I have never had such clean floors in my life. It 100% stands up to the pet hair (and we get a lot of it) and the mud and mess all of our โkidsโ track in. Our entire home has hardwood flooring and I use it everywhere with no issues. It has 2 modes. An auto mode where it detects mess and will turn up the suction and water/roller setting if it detects mess or debris, and a max mode. In Max mode it uses the highest water, suction and roller setting. This does cause the clean water tank to be used quickly, but this is really only used when there is a big mess or a hard to scrub area.I find the suction to work great. I donโt sweep beforehand so it gets ALL the debris. I do pick up anything large that I find and donโt try to vacuum that up (think the size of a piece of popcorn) so I havenโt tested that out, but I donโt think something that size would fit in the suction port by the roller. The front will leave a tiny space where it doesnโt get along the edges, but I just turn and run the side along the walls. When I do it that way I get a much tighter clean against the walls and it picks everything up no problem from the side.I think it does just fine getting more stuck on messes off the floor. If it doesnโt get it the first time, I just go over it slowly multiple times and even use my foot to put slight pressure on the roller. Works like a charm. You will need to remove some larger debris (like large chunks of pet hair) off of the roller when youโve finished cleaning if it is too big to be suctioned up into the dirty water tank, BUT the self cleaning cycle does an amazing job of cleaning the mop. I only have to remove slightly larger debris every couple uses after the self cleaning cycle. To me the only small con is how small the cleaning solution bottle is and how expensive it is. I ran out of it, and have just been using water to clean my floors which works fine. If I notice a slight odor to the dirty water tank or roller, I just add a tablespoon of vinegar to the clean water tank and it removes the odor completely. I wouldnโt use anything other than vinegar or the original cleaning solution (it specifically says not to use any OTHER cleaner than the provided cleaning solution) because I would be worried about build up in the internal system. All in all, it was 100% worth the money. I have 0 complaints and find it so โfunโ to use! Definitely get a dopamine rush every time I use it ๐

WOW
First, let me tell you about my household. 3 dogs, 4 cats. 1 of my dogs, drops black clumps of hair everywhere. I have tile and wood floors. I have been using the o'cedar mop, for years and have been pleased with the job it does. I have black mats and a Ruggable rug. No, you can not just use this without vacuuming first. i tried and within minutes it was telling me to clean the roller.I have 3 different types of vacuums, upright for rugs, simple cordless vacuum for the floors, and a canister with a floor attachment to do the floors in detail. This what I had to do before using Tineco, which is totally fine with me. It did a good job, i had to get a few spots off by hand but overall, very pleased. Dried very quickly and was not smeary. Now my cleaning business. There is one floor that is SHINY laminate flooring. This is the only floor I have to get on my hands and knees, spay with glass cleaner and wipe it dry. Otherwise all of my other clients I am using o'cedar mop. Well this ACTUALLY WORKED. I was in shock. It did not smear or leave film on the floor. The battery life was fine for this house and mine. This machine does not work well on stairs, I would not even bother using on any rugs. The distance between cabinet and floor can be an issue for some. Tight spots like around the toilet, does not go under a bed at all, which is fine(I can use the mop). While it does suck up stuff still on the floor, it will clog the filter or brush. Which then you have stop and clean the filter, but again I am not on my hands and knees. Keeping an eye on the water, dumping the dirty water, IN THE TOILET. I do not recommend dumping in a sink.I still using the mop to do baseboards or tight spots. I can not use this for my regular clients and it is bit to much work and battery life.

Love it so far!
Chose this over the Bissell Crosswave (nothing against Bissell just wanted to give this a chance). Love it so far! Looks very aesthetically pleasing. It pulls itself forward and is rather light, so is easy to use. I thought my steam mop cleaned well, but after using this, I see how dirty and black the dirty water really is! It's easy to clean too. I do vacuum first, so there is minimal debris, but still some (you'd be surprised!). I like how it talks. The suction is powerful. After using this, I rubbed a clean baby wipe against the floor and it did come back clean! So this does clean very well! I just hope it lasts and that customer service proves supportive. This wasn't cheap. And I could have gotten by with the cheaper, previous model instead. Will report back if any issues arise. I was skeptic to buy this since I don't know what their customer service is like. For comparison, my Dyson broke down in less than a year, and I was able to order replacement parts very easily and received relatively quickly too. So I know a company like Dyson has excellent customer service. But don't know much about Tinceo. For the robot version of a similar mop, try the iLife Shinebot (absolutely love!). I am also eyeing the Narwhal robot vac/mop (on my XMas wishlist). For robot vacs, I highly recommended the Roomba S9 (or S9+ with self-emptying cannister).

Tineco Floor ONE S3 for hard floors
For the money, this is an excellent hard floor cleaner. Easy to use, fantastic clean, quiet and relatively straight forward to refresh, ready for the next clean. The only real difference I can see between this model and ones twice and three times more expensive, is the small gap along the edges. The S3 doesn't clean all the way to the skirting boards however, most of our wear & tare is in the middle of the hallways & rooms anyway.Highly recommended to anyone wanting a cordless wet & dry hard floor cleaner that really cleans.Five Stars
