I see a lot of complaints about the top being warped etc. its contoured that way to aid water in funneling to the mesh filter. I have used mine and next to a cheaper version. I love it! It’s sturdy, the spigot, although plastic does in fact work flawlessly for me. My indoor jungle is loving the rain water and they’re thriving. For the money, I think it’s a great buy and next year I may add two more to the other side of the house. Rainwater is magical to a Gardner, and do sre these barrels

Good quality thick pvc plastic. Easy to use/ install. I recommend adding a small screen to the top and overflow valve just to keep out super tiny insects, otherwise is does have a screen like piece of plastic to keep out bigger debris on the top which is nice. Does not leak and looks clean. Would recommend product.

I purchased 2 of these barrels and hooked them up under an AC condensation line to catch the water. They have been fantastic. I gave it 4 starts instead of 5 for the following reasons. The valves provided are made of plastic. They are junk so I immediately bought brass, 1/4 turn valves so I’d never need to replace them. The screen on the top needs to be trimmed down to fit (no big deal) and needs 8 stainless steel screws to hold it down properly. You are only provided with 2 and they are not stainless. My only other complaint is that it would be nice to have access to the interior of the barrel. I imagine that after unscrewing the screen a few times it might start to strip the holes. It’s not a huge deal and the price was right for what I got. I’m so grateful to have such a large collection of water for my plants that was just going to waste! If I could give it 4.5 stars I would.

✅ I have had this for about a year now and very durable and still work like a charm. ✅ Holds 50g of water easy from the rain which is very good. I let the water out when full to water my plants. ✅ Very stable on top of the blocks and easy to install out the box. Does not fall down when water is inside so I like that as well ✅there was no missing parts when arrived.

The structure of this device is not strong enough to hold 50 Gallons of water without warping. This pic shows two months of ordinary use. The flat back has bulged two inches and now touches the house siding. The back was flat when installed in June. It rained yesterday, so the barrel is full. It will flatten a bit when I drain it, but it is permanently warped. One star because it didnt even last two months. I am forced to drain half its contents to save its life. This barrel promises to hold 50 Gallons (415 lbs) of rainwater securely, but it cannot hold its back straight when full. The barrel's flat structure has fundamental internal weaknesses present in its initial design. It relies too heavily on the strength of its plastic material alone. Reshaping the material, adding thick internal ribs and a spine to distribute the fluid load, would perhaps help it do the intended work. It might reduce the capacity a bit but at least it would distort itself. The product never passed a two month mark of testing, evidently. It was rushed to market. Buyer beware, always. There are no leaks at this time. The appearance from the front looks good. The plastic spigot is holding up for now.

When I got this rain barrel, the quality control was lacking. There was a leak at the bottom, not where I attached the spigot with thread seal tape, but about 3/4" away where it looked like a circular piece of plastic surrounding the spigot was permanently attached to the larger barrel piece. Those pieces were not properly bonded together, and there was a slow leak at that seam. However, after posting my negative review here, customer service contacted me (twice) in order to resolve the issue, and they sent me a replacement barrel that works just fine, at no charge and without having to return the leaking one. So, five stars for excellent customer service and making it right!

I had high hopes for these barrels, but I was let down in a few ways. 1) You cannot attach a regular garden hose directly to the spigot. The spigot is 5/8 inch and hoses attach to 3/4 inch. You can buy an adapter, of course, but why don't they just include a spigot that has the right size connection? 2) The back bows when filled with water. This is only a problem if you place it directly against your home. I had read the reviews and placed mine about three inches away, so it turned out to not be a problem. Still, it'd be nice to place it directly against the wall. 3) The mesh on top is a bit too small and there are no receiving holes in the barrel to which you can fasten the mesh. The holes must be drilled by the user and then they must be juuuuust right so that they reach both ends of the hole AND keep the mesh taut. It wouldn't be too difficult for the manufacture to pre-drill holes that just work correctly. 4) There are two decorative knobs on either side of the barrel. This is not a problem, as it makes it easier to carry. The problem on mine is that the seem isn't quite complete, leaving a pinhole leak. 5) Be ready for VERY LOW PRESSURE once you start to drain your barrel. I can't imagine that gravity provides more than 2 gallons/min (probably more like 0.75), which means that with 55 gallons in there, the MINIMUM it will take you to water is 25 minutes. I believe it's more like 60-80 minutes, though. I just left it running by the tree to give the tree a good watering. It's still great to have some way to use the rainwater rather than just let it flow into the nearest reservoir, but be prepared to deal with the issues I've laid out here. tip: use a couple of cinderblocks (rather than recommended plastic stands) to prop your barrel off the ground. Much sturdier and cheaper.

The seams are messy but as long as they hold, then this is good. At first I thought the top came dented but soon realized what a dummy I am because the "dent" was on purpose so the rain water leads into the vented hole lol. Good for the price and looks nicer than a regular plastic barrel and fits nicely against a building. Prices for nice barrels like this one in the stores tend to be much higher so I give this 5 stars.

Simple à assembler et pratique

Super easy to set up compared to other rain barrels I have bought in the past past. The top screen could have some guide holes pre drilled to make installation easier, otherwise it would be an easy 5 stars.

I bought this product about a month ago and I love it. Firstly, the price was reasonable, secondly it's well made. Thirdly it really looks cute. I like the flat back that sits snuggled to the house. I've only had it about a month so I can't speak for durability but my first impressions are good!
