Review: Absolutely perfect design for a potato masher tool - I rarely give a 5 star rating, but this potato masher deserves it. It is very well made and sturdy. No part of it seems like it will break or wear out any time soon. It is easy to clean and store. I use it even when making a very small amount of mashed potatoes. It is very easy to use even when i leave the skins on the potatoes. The holes are just the right size. I would definitely recommend this kitchen tool for everyone.
Review: Absolutely the BEST - I rarely write reviews, but washing this masher twice in the last two days (I love it so much I am washing it by hand) reminds me that it deserves a review. This is BY FAR the greatest potato masher EVER. Bought in December 2024, so I’ve used it a number of times now. It’s fantastic. Somehow it doesn’t take a huge amount of strength and the results are consistent and superb. My Zyliss salad spinner is the same great quality and also delivers exceptional results. Their products are consistently great.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: Does this masher work to mash skin-on red potatoes? Would the skins get stuck in and clog the holes? Thanks.**
A: Yes, but have a bowl of water to rinse between mashing so there is no build up. If you prefer, use Canola oil on face of masher before using.

**Q: What is the grade of the stainless steel? 18/8?**
A: Yes, this is 18/8 also known as 304 grade stainless steel

**Q: Can we use this for Avocado?**
A: You could but using metal utensils and avocados accelerates the oxidation which causes browning so you might want to stick with plastic or bamboo utensils for avocados.

**Q: Is this safe for nonstick pots and pans?**
A: No, not really. The masher part is metal and probably would scratch the nonstick coating.
