I love this tea I just wish it was more readily available

Nutty aroma from toasted rice

If you're only interested in value for money, this tea is great.In terms of flavour it had an initial unexpected bitterness and after brewing for a while or after the tea had cooled then there's a peculiar alcohol or chemical sensation. Frankly I'm disappointed. I only write this review because I'm unable to find an option for return or refund.The packet bore a label saying "Green tea does not originate from USA". Clearly if it had originated from Japan that would be advertised so I assume it's from some cheaper source.

I was very disappointed with this item as I had rated Yamamotoyama from a previous purchase, but on this occasion the Genaicha was stale, discoloured and rather too twiggy. I shan't purchase again.

Bought this as an alternative Genmaicha while waiting for my regular Genmaicha subscription just to try something new. Found it not as good, even though it is a bit more expensive. Not a premium quality (quite a bit of tea dust and the taste is quite bleak).

Good Tea. Stronger than the last one I purchased from F&M so will just use less next time
