I had a major problem with the roller brush that came with my vacuum cleaner (Bissell Velocity). When i first got the vacuum, the original roller brush warped and would not turn. It sat in my basement, unused, for almost a year. I took a chance and ordered this roller brush to replace it, and I can finally use my vacuum again! I have been using it for several months now, and it has not warper like the original brush that came with the vacuum did.

The brush for my Bissell Momentum Cyclonic got warped somehow and the whole vacuum stopped working. I ordered this based on other reviews and I am not disappointed! True enough it does not have as many bristles and they are not as the original Bissell part but it still works great. I took the advice of the other reviews and adjusted so I use this on a shorter carpet nap than I usually did and my carpets look as fantastic as ever.

This was a better fitting, more sturdy roller than the original at half the cost! Shame on name brand manufacturer's who inflate the prices of their replacement parts. Where has the "we appreciate you business gone?" Wouldn't surprise me to find out the makecertain products more prone to breakage just to make consumers buy their overpriced replacements.Kudos to Generic Manufacturers.

When my vaccuum roll broke about two weeks before my mom was visiting, I was nervous that I wouldn't be able to find a replacement part in time. This brush has brought my vacuum back to life. My carpet is actually fluffier because of it! Great price and so far seems to work perfectly. It also weighs less because of its wood construction so I believe it actually spins faster the the stock one. Either way I'm getting another one as a spare.
