Makes for ease
My dad and i both have bad backs which makes for a hard time when lowering and lifting the gate. With the lift assist and this handle life is good and to raise and lower is great. nO more bending over.!

Makes it easier to lift the gate
This handle is a great addition I have a 20 ft 10 k trailer with a very heavy gate to support equipment up to 8,000 lbs so you can image how heavy it is witn the lift system and adding this handle I can raise and lower this gate all day to get my mowers off and on with ease or as easy and possible with a heavy duty gate. Highly recommend if you use a trailer daily.

This lift system works!
I am getting older and trying to list a full tail gate on my utility trailer was getting too difficult to do on my own. Not any more! this thing works like a charm. I can now lift it into place one handed without any stress or strain. I small child can do it. With that being said I put on both lifting sides. the system comes with 2 and I installed 2.

Needs the gorilla lift kit to be effective but together they are amazing
Used with the gorilla lift kit make a 300 lb trailer gate be able to be lifted easily with one hand

Useless, in my opinion (which is what a review is… an opinion)
If you have already installed a gorilla-lift, then this is something that is less than needed. It gets in the way. The gorilla-lift, if installed even mostly correctly, can be lifted with your foot and helps the gate move with ease. This thing is just aggravating. It wasn’t easy to install either. Simply not worth it. And… I wouldn’t recommend it either.
