iKross Smartphone / Tablet Cup Mount Holder Car Cradle Kit - Black (Cup mount arm length 5.5 inches)

This is just what I needed to support my iPad while using it as a navigation system in the car! Despite the fact that it only accommodates the iPad in the landscape position IN THE CLIP, it does turn sideways and allow you to use whichever orientation you like, it's just a little offset. There are a lot of little adjustments you can make to get this just right for however you want to view it; and the bonus is that it is also perfect for my husband's iPhone when he makes solo drives ... he said he wasn't interested in using it - until he DID, now he uses it all the time.Took seconds to set up, seems to be a very sturdy piece. Hope to get years of use, I can use it as driver, passenger, or put it in the back seat for kids to watch something while we're traveling.

Decent holder for a smart phone, not at all usable for a tablet. The tablet option looks like a bad add-on to the design. I wanted this for a very lightweight and skinny Dell Venue 8" tab but it is too flimsy with the tablet extension installed. It barely holds the tab steady, driving is even worse making it unusable.Works fine for a smart phone without the tablet mount.I give it 2 1/2 stars for the deceptive claim that its usable for a tablet.

For the money, this is one of the better ones out there. After going through several products in several years, I found this one the easiest to use and the most flexible for your car or truck. I have used it in both my old F150 and my wife's Impala. Works great. Holds both my Galaxy and my wife's S4 and daughter's iPhone. Also holds one of our small old Dell tablet. Adjusts well, fits all of the drink holders I've tried so far. Fits securely and holds tight! We have had very bad washboard roads due to the packed ice and snow this year and it has held over bumpy travel to/from work 60 miles a day. No problems.

This thing is great. Now obviously depends on your car and where your cup holder is and if it will bother your gear shift. I have a Ford Edge. For me my iPad fit perfectly, and I didn't even take off my Smart Cover. Definitely a plus not having to take off the cover every time I want to use this. It is very sturdy and holds the iPad perfectly. I mostly use it for my iPhone 6 plus now instead only because the iPad I won't be able to open my arm rest but if I was going on a road trip or anything I would definitely use it for the IPad. It can also be great for back seat passengers to use or even your passenger next to you.This thing stays in place. Really easy to get in the cup holder and get it out. The only trouble you will have is switching from phone holder to iPad holder. Be careful not not break the plastic tip but it's not rocket science.One change that would make this perfect would be if there was a way to push the head further back. If it had a little extended head that you can push back and have the pad go a few inches away from you would be perfect because then I can push it out toward the open space and not bother the gear shift and arm rest. But I guess that would probably make it less sturdy and make it shake a bit. Overall great product. I love it. And I don't Mind giving up a cup holder for my phone to be right next to my and sturdy not shaky and moving.

You know how I know a mount is useless? When it fails not once, but TWICE as you're leaving your PARKING SPOT. That's right ladies and gentlemen, the tablet mount couldn't withstand the simple act of shifting out of 'park' and pressing the accelerator; it's not even as if I was trying to leave a tight spot on the street--I have a private parking spot."Which tablet could he have possibly been using so as to render the mount useless?" you may be asking. It's not a 12.9" iPad Pro. It's not a 9.7" iPad. It's a Samsung Galaxy Tab A 8". You know, the flimsy plastic one. You're right once again ladies and gentlemen, the mount couldn't hold a plastic tablet.Once I stopped cursing at the top of my lungs, I mounted the tablet once again and tried to be on my merry way. One avenue later, I knew that it was a lost cause. Really. That's all it survived.The iKross does have one thing going for it; the cup holder part is pretty fantastic. The construction is very sturdy and once (if you have to) you expand it to fit your cup holder, it doesn't budge at all. It's a shame that you then need to ruin it by adding three plastic pieces in a silly K'Nex type of way in order to mount a tablet. With nothing but tiny notches to hold the pieces to each other, the mount is perfect for 2-3 sheets of looseleaf paper. Anything heavier than that and the mount will shake, rattle, roll and disassemble right before your very eyes.It is packed and ready to be returned to Amazon. Don't bother with this mount if you have a tablet.

I didn't have high expectations of this mount for my tablet. I planned on using this differerntly then it's intended. I was looking for something to go in the cup holder of my power reclining movie theater seat to hold my tablet which I use to control the theater. I have seen products advertised for just that purpose built with very nice metal arms and sturdy base that sell for nearly $90. I took a gamble on this and couldn't be happier! the base adjusts perfectly to create a very firm grip in my cup and this has the ability to adjust the tilt, swivill of the tablet. Well worth the $28. Great product.

Llevo muchos meses con él en el coche, y cumple muy bien su función, sujeta el móvil rígidamente y con el muelle facilita mucho el montar y quitar el móvil de sus sitio.

Ich habe mir das kurze und das längere iKross 2 bestellt, weil ich nicht wußte, wie sich das in der Höhe bei meinem neuen Auto ausgeht. Bin beim kurzen geblieben. Es läßt sich leicht, schnell und einfach montieren, der Spreizmechanismus hält sehr gut und kann auch mit etwas größeren Becherhaltern gut umgehen. Die Halterung vom iPad spannt sich mit einem Federzug und hält das iPad auch sehr gut in Position. Theoretisch kann man es auch leicht um 90° verdrehen, wobei es in mehreren Stufen einrastet. Ist aber für mich theoretisch, weil es in meinem Auto an der Stelle, an der es sitzt nicht genügend Platz hat, um auch hochkant zu stehen. Optional ist auch eine Handyhalterung dabei, die man wahlweise einhängen kann. Da ist aber auch schon der einzige Schwachpunkt, denn dieser Einhakpunkt hat ein bißchen ein Spiel, wodurch das iPad ein wenig wackeln würde. Da ich eh nicht zur Handyhalterung wechseln will, habe ich die iPadHalterung an dieser Stelle mit einem Tropfen Superkleber fixiert. Wackeln beseitig ! Alles in Allem ein gutes braubares Teil, zum kleinen Geld ! Bin sehr zufrieden. Die lange iKross (die ist ident zur kurzen, nur mit einem längeren Hals) werde ich mir auch behalten - hat ja nicht viel gekostet. Vielleicht kann ich die woanders nochmal gut gebrauchen.
