May be a foolish question but, are these propietary to only the Knew concept saw or will they work in other coping saws?

Good question. Yes, they work fine in other fretsaws such as the Olson 3" and 5" fretsaws (listed on Amazon as "jewelers saws", which are good solid workers at 1/5 the price of the Knew Concept fretsaws.

Says fret saw but the picture is coping blade. Which is it?

They are horrible and break easy. They are fret but poor grade.

How long is the blade?

The package says 5", but I measure the length at 5-1/8" which is the same as the blades I use in my powered scroll saw. They fit perfectly in my Knew Concepts fret saw.
