Odd question, I know, but would this be big enough to put smarties (sweets) inside, in a stack?

Good question! The tubes are 45mm long by 13mm diameter on the inside - I would guess at about 7 to 10. They are of a squidgy plastic with screw lids so will not break easily if for kids. I also purchased the 10ml tubes which are 13mm x 90mm on the inside (so double the size / double the smarties), but they are a hard plastic with squidgy plastic stopper (More difficult to undo for little fingers).
