Will this work on a gravity fed 500 gallon diesel tank

I use the two filters I have with a rotary hand pump on 55 gallon drums. One for gasoline and one for diesel. There is very little resistance to fuel flow unless the filter is dirty or the temperature is too low. Last winter's single digit temperatures gave me trouble on the diesel pump. This should work good with a gravity feed tank if you just want to filter your fuel and don't need massive flow. There are several different filters to use inside it available.

Will the filter work if it's on an angle, and not straight up and down?

Yes, But keep in mind that the gunk you are filtering out will drop to the bottom of the reservoir if it is vertical and that dropping stuff may clog the filter element quicker if angled too much or placed upside down...

The ad says top cap has 3/4" npt and the details below it say 1" npt is that just a miss print. i need to know which it is?
