Can I apply Dye Defender, during a foil coloring process, to sections of hair to keep those sections color-free?

I would use this more to protect the skin than others hair. I use Olaplex #2 between my foils.

Does this help with protecting when bleaching hair?

This product protects the skin by your hairline. I am not sure if that goes for bleaching as well. It probably would help. Just recommend you apply it a little on the heavy side. You might try getting in touch with the manufacturer and posing that question to them. It works fine with hair dye.

Product arrived with the lid off! I issued a return and will receive a new one but do you really want this back??

What does this smell like?

I cannot give the scent a specific name, but I like. It smells kinda sweet...botanical-like. Not chemically at all. Good product!

Dye defender to the rescue !!!

With exactly as it should ! Feels light enough on my skin , doesn’t run or drip and does the job around the perimeter of my hairline to prevent dye adhering to my face ! Good value fur the money as not much needed esch time .
