Superior Pump 92571 1/2 HP Stainless Steel and Cast Iron Sump Pump with Vertical Switch, .5 hp

This is the second time I've purchased this Superior model. We use a sump to handle the feet of rain we get yearly, so I expect to get a couple of years of service between replacement. This particular unit moves the water at a good rate and I've not had any problems with it clogging up. I recommend it, but as with any machine, excessive use will shorten the useful life. It's the best pump I've found for my situation.

I got this kind of lift put for the basement sump pump it works good but I haven’t stalled in because of it’s a backyard one not poop one to have extra thanks David the plummeter

This thing is a beast. I installed it basically while I was under water after I found out the previous one in my crawlspace had failed. This thing emptied the entire crawlspace worth of water in under 30 minutes. Mind you there was about 3 inches of standing water outside above the level of the sump pit. I did learn that some of the drain pipe was not secured and it blew the junctions with the force but that's not the pumps fault. Even with all of the rain we have had in TN the crawlspace has been dry as a bone since installing this unit. Highly recommend.

My basement sump holds about 20 gallons, and this beast sucked it dry in seconds; looked like a toilet flushing. Very quiet also. Easy to install as I removed the old pump and installed the new one with minimal effort. Now will it last?

Looks good quality and working fine for past may months

This was easy to install (as they pretty much all are). The main problem I had is that the adapter for the schedule 40 1.5" pipe appeared to be broken or flawed as the pipe did not fit in it. I went to the hardware store and bought two separate pieces to make the adapter that I needed and all was well after that.
