If you want a great amount of dimmable light, buy these. Although pot lights, in general, have replaceable bulbs, these are LED and will last a long time, 50,000 hours according to the ad. They are very light so you don't need and type of stud to hold them. Just use the enclosed template and cut your hole. You still have to run wires to the light and then from the first to the next and so on. I recommend cutting the hole on the inside of the circle traced from the template. The line you draw could possibly show, but you can move the light slightly once installed.

I can't say enough about these lights. Here are the highlights:- All-in-One design: These units have the junction box built in (required for US installations) with three knockouts for AC wiring.- Simple installation: The product included adequate instruction, a template for hole cutting, videos were available. The wiring could not be easier. Three are no wire nuts. You simply push the AC wires into their respective connector within the J-Box (the connector also allows for daisy chaining with two more connection spots to continue down the line). I installed 6 lights in less than an hour.- High quality: This product was so well though-out. It does not feel "cheap". Even the packaging was well thought out. This is incredible considering there are much more expensive products on the market (I started with another Chinese brand that was $20 more for the same quantity and the experience was terrible).- The dimming is flawless: There is no flicker or drop-outs using a standard Leviton 664-POW. It's smooth!!I highly recommend these lights. What would be even cooler is of they sold adapter rings that allowed these 6" lights to fit into older 7" recessed can light holes (the company doesn't;t sell a 7" version unfortunately).As a work around, I ended up buying some plastic goof-rings and modifying them so that I could install these into the old 7" holes. These installed flawlessly, very bright, however after only 4 months one of the 6 stopped working. I contacted Amazon and they have no access to Ledimwo. Amazon gave me a 15 dollar credit, which is better than a kick in the teeth. Just know when you buy from CHINA, you have no warranty or customer support. Note also that every LED light is most likely made in china and you are at the mercy of their quality control or lack of.

Great lights & easy to install. Unfortunately, I thought they adjusted from 3k, 4K & 5k.If you are wanting super bright & super white only this is the light for you. They dim but 5k gives the room a very sterile look like fluorescent bulbs & it is not good for taking photos. Washes everything out. Yes I know these aren’t photography lights but our homes are where we takes pictures of birthday parties, family gatherings, ect…So lighting in our homes has to be top notch especially if you want to take good quality photos without having to edit.I returned for the same brand but with adjustable light options from 3-5k.

the difficult part about installing these light are the junction boxes especially in a series. the grommets if you get any do not hold the wire only protect the metal edge. The best way to install these is a separate utility box for each light then run 18or 22 guage wire to the lamp box if you run 14 guage wire into the lamp box there is VERY little room for the wires especially if you run a series . the pushlock connectors a designed for solid copper wire the lights are soldered strand wire an easily pop out of the connector that being said the light are super bright and easy to install with a 6 1/8' hole cutter. you will struggle with a 6'' hole cutter

I liked that all the lights worked, and look wonderful. I didn’t put a dimmer switch on yet, so I can’t review that. These lights make a home look more expensive. I am very satisfied.Update: one of the lights went out, but this company stands by their product. The response time, I must say is the best I have ever received. If your looking for lights this company is hands down one of the best!

Well i know these are tough because i dropped one 8 feet from my ladder onto concrete. It hit hard and sounded like I broke it. Surprisingly it turned on like nothing happened so all good there. Only complaints are the spring clips are a bit finicky and there was only one hole template buried in the box. I didn’t see it so made my own. I do recommend these lights though.

I install this light in my basement, my husband and my son say the instructions are easy to follow, takes little more time to install the first two, then getting more easier. Very bright, love it!
