I received Lulu organics natural hair powder in Patchouli Amber. This product is one of the best organic and natural products I’ve used for hair. It is good for subtly brightening my natural dark blonde hair, providing volume, and cleaning your hair without shampoo or aerosol like many other effective dry shampoo brands. The smell is divine and has no chemical odor like some mass marketed aerosol dry shampoos which I greatly appreciated. Overall I am highly impressed by this product and the affordable price so would most definitely choose to buy again! Thank you!

I initially bought this for the packaging and ended up loving the product and repurchased. Its a strong dry shampoo that does its job quickly. You get so much product with this it lasts maybe 6x as long for me as an aerosol bottle would. It has a light and nice scent, I’ve tried the patchouli and lavender scents and they’re very subtle and nice. Ive even gotten compliments on my hair smelling so good! Do not apply this directly onto your head from the bottle or you will get a white cast! Pour a little on your hands and smear it around like its chalk for a gymnast before applying to your hair. This will give you a more targeted and even application without white spots on your head. I have very dark brown hair and it leaves very little white cast when applied how I described that can mostly be brushed out. If you need to apply a lot it will leave a cast. When that happens I like to apply a dry hair oil like the Moroccan Oil treatment to give my hair more natural hydration and shine. Overall its worth your money, lasts forever, smells excellent, and gets the job done!

I love this stuff. On the days I wash my hair, I use this product and I can go a day or two without having to wash again. I have super fine oily hair, so that is basically a miracle. It smells heavenly too. Just use a dime size amount or your hair will look dull.

I've been using dry shampoo for over 2 years now. One of the things I hate about it is the aerosol way of distributing it; it will put my entire bathroom in a fine layer of powder, and it drives me insane. I also can't recycle the can once I'm done, and it makes me feel guilty, and not able to look sea turtles in the eye. This stuff is GREAT. Does exactly what you need it to, and I believe, lasts longer than aerosol formulas. (This stuff lasted up to 3 days, where aerosol needed reapplication every day for me!!) My only gripe is that maybe the holes where it exits are a little too big... It takes much finessing to be able to sprinkle the same amount evenly all over your head, and sometimes your shake is a *little* too exuberant and it turns your hair white and dry in one spot. This can be brushed and spread out, but still, a learning curve. Again, love the product, but it's a little more effort involved that I believe could be fixed by making the distribution holes smaller. I used unscented because that's just a preference of mine, so I cannot comment on the scent selections. Unscented is truly undetectable to the nose.

5/5 for the patchouli scant. I love it! And I do use it on my hair to help control oil, but it is not better than the spray product. Best way to use it is at night. Comb and massage it into your scalp than let it absorb while you sleep.

I bought this in May of 2022 and use it at least once a week and I am finally about to run out and repurchase. This lasts you so much longer than an aerosol dry shampoo and I love that it’s more natural. It has a great scent too! I like to apply it at night on a powder brush that I bought and dedicated to this product. Applying it with the brush helps give me more control with the powder, as a little goes a long way, and helps me spread it evenly. I highly recommend this product!

Having never tried a hair powder or dry shampoo before, I had my doubts, but this powder delivers. I put it to the test three days after washing my hair. It not only instantly toned down the oily shine on the top of my head and around my hairline, but my somewhat stringy, limp locks had more fullness and bounce to them. I'm definitely impressed and plan to use this when I don't have time to wash my hair. The key is to rub the powder well between your palms before applying. This will enable an even distribution and prevent the product from being visible on the hair (I didn't see a trace of it anywhere on my dark hair). I also started out with a small amount at a time, building it up until the oiliness had disappeared. I love the natural ingredients. The unscented version truly is unscented.

Like every other person needing dry shampoo, I ventured into the world of powder dry shampoo with caution. Ive only ever used the can spray ones and always, ALWAYS had scalp issues due to ... whatever was being sprayed on my scalp. When I first got the Lulu's Organics powder, I was really was befuddled on HOW to get the powder on my head without dusting everything in my bathroom with a fine coating of powder. If you have asked yourself this question, never fear. Use an old (or new) face powder brush (preferably a dense kabooki styled brush) and pour a small amount of the dry powder on a plate (or bowl or elephant ring holder that your best friend brought you). Load up your brush, tap off the excess and lightly dust your roots with the powder. It works best for me if it keep the powder OFF of my scalp and using the brush makes it easier for me to pin point WHERE I want the powder to go. Tapping powder out of the container with the hole-y lid never worked for me and ended up DUMPING powder all in the same spot. Once I found this application style, I swore I would NEVAH go back to the aerosol versions (which was a good thing with the benzene and butane issues that everyone discovered: no wonder my scalp hated me!). Ive tried the rose and the lavendar of this brand and I love the way it works. The makeup brush application will work for any powder dry shampoo and will save you wasting product and make it easier to get the results you were hoping for.

I use it on my hair actually. Has a beautiful, subtle smell that I enjoy.
