It has a cushiny wrap that keeps the heat away from your hands. No condensation from cold beverages. The lid has a nice seal and a slide close to stop spills in the car. That was a big plus. No since having a travel mug without a way to keep it shut when you're not drinking. The only draw back is that it's not dishwasher safe. The seller replied that they don't sell them but if I provide my address they would ship me a replacement. They shipped it out quickly and I'm able to use it again.
