It depends what you want said skin to do. If you would like the skin to taste better, I imagine so. There is no recommendation for it but shred some skin in a bowl and drizzle with cider vinegar, for sure it will help.

Hi there yes it works well in shakes! I usually don't add any honey or sweeteners when I use OSU as it is just sweet enough already - makes my shakes really tasty!
