Jobe's Plant Food Fertilizer Spikes, Easy Plant Care for All Ferns and Palm Plants, 30 Count

We buy ferns for our porch every year, and this year they just seemed a little puny and lacked their usual fullness. I decided to try these fertilizer spikes to see if they would help perk them up. Within a week, I could already tell a difference. The ferns were looking fuller, healthier, and had noticeable new growth coming in. I was honestly surprised at how quickly they responded. Very happy with this purchase and will definitely keep using them for our porch plants.

It works! Revived my nearly deceased maiden hair fern

I bought these for an Austral Gem fern. They are about the easiest way to fertilize a plant. Sticking fertilizer spikes in the pot takes seconds and they last for a couple of months. Thirty spikes in a package means you get a lot of value for one purchase. But do they help the plant grow better? Hard to say! Figuring out how to make my fern happy has been a long, slow process for me, and I’ve changed a lot of factors, so attribution can be difficult. For example, when I started using these fertilizer spikes I had somewhat recently figured out how to water the fern correctly, and it was going into winter. Around spring, still using the fertilizer, I repotted and changed how much light the fern gets. I’m confident the fertilizer hasn’t done anything bad to the fern. Exactly how much it’s helped is harder to know. What I can say is that the fern looks the healthiest it's been since I originally bought it.

Just started using it and can’t wait to see results

My fern looked like it was on its way out. I really dont know what happened to it other than being old. So I bought these spikes to revive it. They seem to be working. The new growth appears healthy and bright green. Fingers crossed.

I put 2 spikes about 2 weeks ago in an Autumn fern I have. It was still alive but had lost quite a few stems when I got it for free and was hoping to nurse it back to health. As of now it's still alive but I dont see any new growth so I don't know if it's working or not. I'll keep checking and watering, hopefully I'll see new growth soon.

Started using Jobe‘s plant food fertilizer spikes in my ferns last summer, which were half dead and these spikes brought my ferns back to life their appearance and longevity. They are still thriving today brought them in for the winter and have continued to feed all winter long. Can’t wait to put them back on the porch where they thrive the most.

I’ve ordered these food sticks for my flowering pots at least three times a year they work wonders I do suggest breaking them in half for any pot that is bigger than 4 to 8 inches in diameter that helps spread out the food when you water it
