Eco Friendly Mondrian Dog Collar, 20-25-Inch, Large

I have a female black/red German Shepherd who looks best in various shades of blue, but then people think she's a boy! People already think she's a boy because she's a German Shepherd so I wanted a collar that would look great on her but wouldn't be too "masculine." My next choice was red, but plain red just doesn't pop on her as well. This collar solves all my issues with collar color selection. With the advantage of vibrant, saturated colors like primary red, primary blue, and primary yellow contrasting against the monotone white and black, the collar not only appears bright and noticeable on her, but is also a great gender neutral, unisex collar. It doesn't hurt that my art style tends to be more geometric with contrasting colors! Aside from the colors, the collar is very well made. The buckle is heavier-duty than most other large collars I've used in the past and the nylon is smooth and tightly woven. As for durability, I can't speak for everyone as I use this collar solely to hold my dog's tags. I use a black martingale (http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000JCWB6U) for the leash so that's the one she really chews on.

This collar has very bright colors. It is a well made collar. I bought it for my black Cane Corso and she looks nice with it on. The colors are black, yellow, red and white. These colors could work on a male or female. I bought it for my female black dog, and it looks great. I bought it in the large size and she had some room left even after I adjusted it. The material it is made out of is beautiful and durable. It has a Dutch label on it like the designer jeans or something. So I guess you would call it a designer collar.

I am not one to go overboard dressing my dog up, so I want her one piece of "clothing" to be special somehow. Her old collar was ready to be replaced and I loved the unique art theme on this one. The colors in the picture are true to life and the collar looks great. It feels a bit thinner than her last one but so far I have no reason to believe this is a flaw. The sizing seems secure, too- I adjusted it to fit my dog's neck and it has a mechanism to keep it from sliding to a looser point. Happy with the purchase.

This collar is great! It fits as described (he's a 45 lb Terrier x). The colors are vibrant. We get tons of compliments. It's great overall. I would buy again!! My only complaint is that they don't offer more collars by famous artists. I want them all! ;)

I just got it in the mail and the collar looks as advertised and seems to be a good quality piece. I got the smallest size for my puppy but its still too big so I'll just have to wait for him to grow into it a bit. I can't wait until it fits though! Its such fun collar, and when he's a little bigger I plan on ordering the matching leash. My only complaint would be that it is a bit difficult to get the clip open. On the other hand I guess you don't have to worry about it popping off when you're walking your dog, and once I figured out the process of opening it I could get it on and off my dog pretty well.

Actually, it’s the manufacturer that’s fabulous. The measurement is WYSIWIG. I’ve had to return >1 set of collars from Big A. Description is accurate. IDK what the material for others is, but some are slippery and the dog can slip the collar. Not a good thing, Because DACHSHUNDS! This moves with or against the coat. The material is perfect and does not get dirty easily. 3-4 months without washing. Most countries available. Great purchase.

This product looks great and feels sturdy, but it actually has a significant flaw. I read this in a few other reviews and I assumed that the pet owners just didn't fasten the clasps properly. I found out the hard way that the other reviewers were right. The collar fastens snugly with a nice loud click - but that is deceiving. My dog pulled on the leash a bit during his second walk with this collar and it immediately unfastened. Luckily he didn't run into traffic in the busy street we were on. I then tested the collar several times and a sharp tug pulls it right apart no matter how tightly it is fastened. This collar looks great and if all you need it for is to hold dog tags then it's a good purchase. If you walk your dog with this collar you are taking a real risk.

Absolutely love this collar, brightly colored and well crafted this looks adorable on our beagle/border collie mix. We ordered the medium at first (our dog is 27lbs) but it was way too big. The exchange was completely hassle free but I would recommend that you measure your dog's neck before ordering. Love the idea of an artist series of dog collars and hope the company expands their line- our older beagle needs an upgrade soon.
