desertcart.com : Greatever Snorkeling Gear for Adults Kids, Dry Snorkel Mask Set Anti-Fog | Panoramic Wide View Leak-proof, Swim Diving Mask with Dry Top Valve & Travel Mesh Bag, Comfortable Breathing : Sports & Outdoors

Review: So much better than I expected! (25 years of diving experience) - This is the first cheap mask and snorkel combo I've had, and it's above and beyond what I expected in every way. I've been diving for 25 years, and had been using a $120 Cressi mask for the past few years. It was stolen unfortunately, and I decided to give this cheap mass produced, off-brand mask. Snorkel: On par with a $80 snorkel at your local dive shop. It keeps almost all water out when diving, and it's extremely easy to blow out once you surface. It's malleable, and the mouth piece is a bit smaller than I prefer it, but still feels great. Airflow is not constricted in any as one of the featured comments suggests. At least not for me. Mask: This is your basic diving mask with two individual panes of tempered glass. It's exactly what one should expect from a brand name entry level diving mask. It fits extremely well for me. I have wide cheekbones and a beard, and yet absolutely no leaks for me. It feels comofortable. The fog resistance is the same as the $75-$150 masks I've had in the past. Just make sure you prep the lenses once you receive your mask (look into the toothpaste method), and use an anti-fogger or baby shampoo & water or saliva on the inside of the lens before heading in the water to prevent fogging further. Lastly, it comes with a decent little mesh bag to carry the combo in. I can't speak on its durability yet as I only have 2 dives with it so far, but was compelled to review how much better this is than what I thought I was getting.
Review: Quality Youth Snorkel Set - I bought this set for my 11 year old granddaughter to go scalloping with me in the Gulf. This was her first time snorkeling. The mask fit her little face perfectly, and was very clear, the only time water got in her mask was when she smiled :) The snorkel worked perfectly as it is designed for. We have a charter business so this set will come in handy for other children to use. It's designed well with soft, but durable, black silicone. It will hold up well and the kids will have a lot of enjoyment finding scallops.

## Questions & Answers

**Q: How do you attach the snorkel tube to the mask?**
A: Excellent question. There were no instructions. I ended up disconnecting one side of the head strap to thread it through the small holder plastic piece, then rethreaded the strap— a pain. But then that small plastic piece broke, so that while it was threaded and attached to the mask, it could not hold the tube... so I ended up attaching the snorkel tube with duct tape. Not a good design. It worked though...
as an aside, we had bought three other snorkel sets, all from different manufactures, that had much better designs... but couldn’t tell until received them and tried to put them on

**Q: Can you use this mask at 60 feet?**
A: I haven't tried it that deep, but I can't see why not. It's quite sturdy and well made. Should be ok.

**Q: To adjust the mask to your face is it a buckle clamp style?**
A: I guess you would call it buckle style tightening. Here's video I took - with one hand. Hope it helps!

**Q: Does this mask have a purge valve for water under the nose if not it is not a good mask for diving**
A: No it does not. You have to purge the water the old fashion way, which is: blow air through you nose while slightly lifting the bottom of the mask. The air pressure will force most of the water out.
