98" Frameless Shower Door Side Seal Strip for 1/4" Glass Door

Our new shower didn't come with this side sweep, only a bottom. This side sweep is awesome and long for big shower doors. Installation is pretty easy, however because of the rubber material, it takes some elbow grease to get it on. Cutting to size is easy! It does keep the water out, so no problem there. However, i drop it on the floor and because the material is rubber, it caught a lot of the stray hair and dust. a quick rinse with water cleaned it right up.

These are not the traditional hard plastic with flexible fin which are sturdy and easy to install but cannot bend into easily shippable packaging. These are extruded silicone material that can be rolled up like electrical wires. They are soft. They adhere to the glass fine when they are dry. The moment water gets under them, they would slip off. So the seller included a tube of adhesives. I installed them dry and try to press fit everywhere hoping water does not get under it. If it slips off when I shower, I will try the included adhesive then and see. If that doesn’t work, then I will return them. For now, it is a tentative 5 star.

The seal fit my shower door well and noticeably reduced water leaking onto the floor. Installation took a little patience, but once it was in place it worked exactly as intended.

Very unhappy I can't return this stuff. Not at all stiff, loose fitting and cloudy. Looks horrible on and just slides off. Came with adhesive but no way am I going to glue this bad looking stuff on my glass door.

Very odd purchase. This was supposed to be clear and as you can see in the picture, it is very purple (old seal strip on the right, new on the left). Also, the packaging was a ziploc bag with a barcode on it. It did come with the sealant as advertised and it was indeed flexible and easy to install. That said, I wouldn’t have purchased it had I known I was getting a seal strip that someone had probably just cut off a large roll and then repackaged in a ziploc bag for resale. If you aren’t concerned about the color but just want a cheap and easy fix, this will work for you.

I ordered the wrong size the first time I tried the product. The 1/4" I destroyed trying to make it work; the 3/8" was perfect and easy. 1/8" makes a difference so make sure to measure the glass, not what you are replacing for your order. It is more opaque verse clear plastic. Place larger fin on inside of door. It works well.

Great product. Easy to cut and install. Make sure you order the right size to use.

It was good fit well and is doing the job

Cumple lo prometido, pero realmente no esperaba que fuera tan flexible. Esto causa que se tenga que implementar otro forma para adherirlo al cristal como silicon.

When your seal strip looks like "disgusting" Even after a GREAT clean up ? Change it ! Looks clean, easy to install !

Este producto es justo lo que necesitaba mi baño, ya que entre los cristales se escapaba el agua y ahora ya no Es muy fácil de instalar y el ajuste es perfecto, no se sale, y si queda grande, se corta,

El pegamento incluido llegó completamente seco. Adicionalmente se ve muy pequeño, imposible que rinda para el tramo del producto. Tendré que comprar un pegamento por separado.
