Do they have loops for locking down wheels to trailer

They have soft loops yes. Not quite what you mean by “ for locking down to trailer?” I can say they are a good quality ratchet strap and I’ve use them most days with my job. The soft ties work very well on my roof bars and hold my kayak good and firm.

Are they suitable for securing timber to roof bars (fence posts/sleepers etc)

Yes.... have used mine for roof rack canoes ,and on roof rack for fence panels, as well as to secure motorbike to trailer.

what is the width of the strap

According to the set of straps I have, they are 1 inch or 2.5cm wide. I hope this helps!

what is the dimentions for the case? I have a holding box on my trailer & wonder if the case will fit inside (670mm x 334mm x 225mm)
