Has anyone ever used this to wring their laundry?** A: No, never have used to wring laundry, the mophead. But, I guess it could work since it does a good job wringing mop. Good luck with that. **Q: Can you not booby trap your packing by ziptieing the wringer handle so when you cut it the handle whacks you in the face?** A: What in the world are you talking about? Your question doesn't make sense. You'll have to explain. Sorry **Q: Can you please tell me how to attach the wringer portion? No directions were included. Thank you.** A: I found out the hard way that if you are having trouble attaching the wringer portion you are putting it on the wrong end of the bucket. While both ends have curves that seem to match the lower portion of the wringer, the boxy end of the bucket is the wrong end-- the curved end that doesn't have the extra lip is the end it should be on. And it just slips on, TOO easily, actually, there's not much keeping it on but gravity. But it does work once you figure out which end is the right one... Otherwise, you'll need a crowbar to bend the plastic enough to get it over the lip, and then it'll tend to fall over because the weight isn't in the right spot-- The wringer should go on the curved end of the bucket that have the caster legs that stick out. The picture on the box is not all that great and doesn't make it all that clear which end the wringer should be on. **Q: How much water does it wring out?** A: Honestly, it doesn't wring out that much water. My mop is still sopping wet after I use the wringer. There isn't enough tension on the wringer to remove water out of the mop. You would be better off wringing out the mop with your bare hands because the wringer on this bucket is NOT great. Heavy duty for sure! *by K***7 on February 26, 2022* Everything about this bucket is high quality! Being able to choose the color is a nice perk. I bought this and it arrived the next day. I have not used it yet & will update soon. Two things: the wringer needs to be held closed before you remove the zip ties due to the spring being very strong and tight and will snap open and possibly cause injury to hands. I read about that in the reviews and it is true. Second thing mine was missing 2 washers and one nut I don't believe it will diminish anything about functionalities at all and I don't mind going to hardware store to replace them. I have been using wringer buckets for over 25 years. I used the Ace Hardware buckets and I absolutely hated how cheap, unsturdy plastic, handle and wheels would fall off and tip over too easy they were. Today was like Christmas for me when I took it out of the box! Good professional quality buckets are Hard to find. This is that 110% I clean houses for a living so I need a good sturdy bucket that won't tip over and cause untold expensive damage. It is heavy though and I will have to adjust in time. It also is bigger than I expected which is okay too!
