Helpful for Disney Tourists making side trips
We went to Disney World for a one time visit. Since we were not planning on coming back and had never been to Florida, we decided to do sidetrips from Orlando as a break from our 7 days at WDW.....manatees, the Spanish fort at St. Augustine, going to Clearwater beach, and Bok Gardens. We had a rental car and we're looking for a book with a good overview of the available options. This book was nicely formatted with a good combination of colored maps, colored pictures and text. The formatting was great and broke up a lot of information neatly into chapters and appropriate subheadings. The way the book divided up the West Coast made a lot of sense. We did not rely on the book for hotel or restaurant reservations, so I can't comment on that. (We used Trip Advisor, which I am starting to think is less reliable than I used to, as done places are gaming the review systems.) Strangely, books, as long as they are not being paid off, may end up being better than online reviews.By the way, Florida drivers are bonkers and we found the driving pretty harrowing. All of our side trips were not that great. We went during Christmas and everything was packed. The only strong recommend was seeing manatees on a cold morning in Homosassa Springs park/zoo.

Fell apart!
The book fell apart on the six day of our trip. I can’t include a picture because I left it in tatters in Florida
