95 yo mother is in the hospital on a PICC line, which can't get wet. We used it to allow her to shower today and it worked perfectly! Very easy to put on and take off. The material is pliable but strong. 5/5

His words: After a second visit to the hospital I needed something better than wasting ziplok baggies and tape on a leaky picc protector for showers. This product is ingenious! 5-10 seconds to slip on and voila... instant waterproof mobility. No more rushing and standing in srtange positions to avoid leakage. After, just slip off and dry as a bone. This is a "polar' sleeve with one hole larger than the other. Remember to slide your hand in the bigger hole first. Update 2/12/23: My husband used this for more than 6 cumulative months since the purchase date. Unfortunately he got use to slapping this thing on and forgot to release some pressure at the seal in 2023. When he flexed his arm, the seem burst. He still considers this a 5 star product but would recommend to the manufacturer that the seal overlap be a least 1/2" or 1cm to accommodate long term wear. He also recommends to put the seal under the elbow when taking a shower in case this ever happens to you. We will be getting another as this is so much more cost effective and easier to use than disposable PICC covers.

After measuring, getting your correct size, this product is perfect to shower without getting your picc line and dressing wet. Putting Saran Wrap around your arm and securing with tape was so involved and difficult to do without assistance. This item allows you to quickly put on yourself and does not let any water in. I totally recommend this product. Worth every penny. So easy, really works and so helpful, especially to promote your independence.

Used this product for the first time this morning. It worked well and honestly was a great relief from having to wrap my arm is plastic which never really work well anyways. I'm 6', 218lbs, arms are about 14" diameter. Quality - Out of the box the product looked good. Material quality and construction were as expected. I didn't see any manufacturing defects. I've read a number of negative reviews about material ripping or falling apart while trying to put the product on. All I can say is to make sure you get the right size and don't be overly aggressive when you put it on. Your hand goes into the big hole first. Sizing - My arm is about 14" in diameter and the product fits well. If my arm were any bigger, I think it would be uncomfortable to wear. Functionality - The product kept the water away from the PICC line area as advertised. It' wasn't especially hard to put on but you need to be a little patient with the process. Realize this is made for minimal movement for short duration while you take a bath/shower. Can't imagine swimming with it. It would wear out pretty quick. This is only a guess but if you use this product daily it looks like it will be effective for about 30 days, we'll see. If you require something more rugged, you'll have to find a different solution.

Works great for keeping a PICC line dry during showering. Much easier than trying to cover it with plastic wrap or taped on plastic bags.

These are great. So much easier/safer than using a plastic sleeve or plastic bag to cover your arm.

Great cover for PICC line patients. It has a really nice seal around the ends, never had any leaks. The plastic is very flexible. This is my second cover because inside black foam part started to deteriorate. I've had mine for over 7 months before this started to happen. I could probably still continue to use it but, the little black bits that have been coming off are just bugging me. I am a small lady 5' 4" and my arm in cm is at 30-32 cm and it fits good.

Bought a second one as I loved the first so much. It’s the same colour but different feeling plastic and leaked from n the first use. Returned it. Update: the neoprene has split on one end of the cover. It has also stretched and lets a little water in at the bottom (hand end) when my arm is up for shampooing. Original review: This cover is worth it. It is wonderful to be able to shower and have no worries that the water will get to your picc line. The neoprene is genius. Wish you had known about this sooner! Beyond happy with it.

Its well fitted from arm but loose at the wrist ,so I apply tape,micropore plaster from wrist end to prevent water entry

I purchased this PICC line shower cover for my mother whilst she has been undergoing cancer treatment and a stem cell transplant. She currently has a PICC line in her upper arm, and this product has honestly made a difficult situation much more manageable and less stressful. One of the biggest worries with a PICC line is keeping the area completely dry whilst showering, especially when dressing changes and infection prevention are so important. Before buying this, showering had become a stressful process involving tape, plastic wrapping, and constant worry about leaks. This cover simplified everything immediately. The waterproof protection has been excellent. It creates a secure seal around the arm without being painfully tight, and we’ve had no issues with water getting through during use. At the same time, it’s comfortable enough that it doesn’t irritate sensitive skin or cause discomfort when putting it on or taking it off. The material feels durable and reusable rather than flimsy or disposable, which is important when something like this may need to be used daily over a long treatment period. It also stretches enough to fit comfortably without feeling restrictive. What I appreciated most was the peace of mind it gave my mother. During treatment, even simple things like having a normal shower can become difficult and emotionally draining. Having a product that actually works properly and removes some of that anxiety makes a much bigger difference than people might realise. Overall, this has been an incredibly useful and worthwhile purchase during a very challenging time for our family. I would absolutely recommend it to anyone with a PICC line, IV line, or supporting a loved one through chemotherapy or stem cell treatment. A simple product, but genuinely helpful and reassuring.
