great purchase
Flavor Profile: It strikes the perfect balance between the natural sweetness of ripe tomatoes and the savory punch of garlic and onions. The subtle hint of basil at the finish ties it all together beautifully. Texture: It has a wonderful, rustic texture—not too watery, but not overly thick either. It clings perfectly to pasta rather than pooling at the bottom of the bowl. Versatility: While it's fantastic over a simple bowl of spaghetti, it also serves as an excellent base for chicken parm, a dipping sauce for garlic bread, or even a quick pizza sauce in a pinch.

Best sauce
I was initially a bit hesitant to order glass jars of pasta sauce online, but buying this on Amazon was incredibly convenient and they arrived perfectly intact, securely wrapped in bubble wrap. As for the sauce itself, it is hands down the best jarred red sauce I have ever tasted. It has a rich, authentic flavor with the perfect balance of garlic, tomatoes, and olive oil. Unlike so many other brands, it isn't overly sweet and tastes exactly like it has been simmering on a stove all afternoon. It is a bit more expensive than the standard supermarket options, but the quality of the ingredients makes it entirely worth it. I highly recommend keeping a few jars in the pantry for a quick, delicious dinner on busy weeknights!

Tastes better than Homemade!
Rao's is hands-down the best jarred sauce on the market. It features a rich tomato flavor with a perfect blend of garlic and herbs, avoiding the overly sweet taste of cheaper brands. It coats pasta beautifully and makes a fantastic base for weeknight meals.

Nothing better taste-wise. A truly quality product. Prices vary. Wait till there is a sale of some sort, then load up!

YES
DELICIOUS, BUT PLEASE STOP LEAVING TOMATO PIECES IN THE MARINARA. TOO MANY. TRYING TO JUST BUY SAUCE.

The winner of our family blind taste test (beats Carbone!)
Our family finally did a blind taste test between four top-tier brands: Rao’s, Carbone, Mutti, and Mezzetta. For 4 out of 5 of us, Rao’s was the clear, undisputed winner. Why it took the top spot: Perfect Balance: While Carbone was a bit more acidic and Mutti felt a bit "simpler," Rao's has a depth of flavor that tastes exactly like a slow-simmered Sunday sauce. It's not too sweet and not too salty—it just tastes like high-quality Italian tomatoes. Texture & "Cling": Some jarred sauces are watery or too chunky, but this has a silky, emulsified texture that actually clings to the pasta instead of puddling at the bottom of the bowl. Pure Ingredients: You can actually see the bits of garlic and herbs. It doesn’t have that "processed" aftertaste you get with cheaper supermarket brands. The "Subscribe & Save" Factor: It is definitely more expensive than your average sauce, but since it's the only one everyone in the house actually agrees on, we put it on Subscribe & Save. It's cheaper than a night of takeout, and the quality makes a 10-minute pasta dinner feel like a restaurant meal. Bottom Line: If you're on the fence about the price, just try one jar. It ruined other store-bought sauces for us!

EXPENSIVE.
Paying S$44 certainly not worth it. That’s equivalent to US$32 a jar.
