Retinol24 Night Cream (old jar)

Olay Retinol 24 is the first retinal cream I've used. I'm use to serums but I wanted a moisturising effect. This is a great choice if you're looking to smooth, renew, and hydrate your skin overnight. When I first started using it, there was a slight tingling sensation, but that quickly faded with continued use. I believe after a week or two at latest. So do stick with it for a few weeks before discontinuing if the sensation doesn't dwindle. It being fragrant-free helps my sensitive, dry skin. As my video sort of shows, you can see what the product actually looks like. It's got a soft texture which when applied leaves your face with a lovely glow and not so sticky feel. Thus, leaves it feeling hydrated and not tight which I like from a night cream. Usually my morning cleanser cleans and tightens before SPF moisturiser. The difference it makes in the morning is noticeable—my skin feels softer, less dry, and more rejuvenated compared to when I used non-retinol creams. Plus, it's reasonably priced, especially compared to other retinol-based options out there. I pick this up during sales and it lasts me usually 4 months if I'm being reasonable with my application, which should be about 2 peas worth. A word of caution: If you've been in the sun, it's best to avoid applying this cream, or you might end up with more irritation than you bargained for. Also, since retinol can make your skin more sensitive to sunlight, it’s important to use an SPF moisturizer during the day to protect your skin. Overall, it's a solid addition to any night time skincare routine which a beginner can take advantage of to boost their routine or just get started with some healthy habits.

I’ve been using the Olay Retinol24 Night Cream (old jar) for a few weeks and really like it. It feels rich but not greasy, absorbs quickly, and my skin looks smoother and more hydrated in the morning. I haven’t used it long-term yet, so I can’t comment on lasting results — that’s why I’ve given it 4 stars. I didn’t notice any irritation, which is great for a retinol product, though it does have the typical retinol scent that some might find strong. Overall, a reliable night cream that delivers noticeable results in the short term.
