I've been a quest for the best anchovies. This is the first salt packed variety I've tried, and all I can say is I'm very impressed. It's expensive for the tin, but I feel like with the amount and size of the anchovies it's well worth it. The only downside to these is you have to remove the bone yourself-- but it's not hard. Just wouldn't go to them if I wanted something quickly.

They were so salty that I couldn’t eat them even after soaking them in hot water and then drained at least three times to get rid of the excessive salt! ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ What I was looking for

I wanted anchovies in salt. I know they are labor intensive but worth the time. I ventured into making an anchovy pizza which was outstanding. My only complaint is the container. It definitely keeps them fresh in the refrigerator but getting the lid off each time is a total nightmare. It needs to be tight to maintain freshness and that's fine but I am unable to remove the lid by myself. Luckily my partner is a "very strong he-man" who loves anchovies! I can not begin to open the container myself. It's kind of crazy but I will buy this product again. All of the anchovies are whole and no pieces so I recommend this brand over the cheaper product. Excellent taste for anchovy lovers.
