What is the material of the play board? Is it metal?

It’s magnetic but it is not metal. It is definitely not worth $13. I was very disappointed in the flimsiness of the magnetic pieces and the board was only one scene because when you turn it over—the backside is only half a scene because of the fold. The magnetic pieces, although there are quite a few of them, are little more than paper with a magnetic backing.
