I leave them on for a little longer than recommended. Do not use if you have a cut or it will burn. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Satisfying Peel *by A***R on January 5, 2025* These do exactly what they claim to do, and relatively quickly - was about 6 or so days after applying when my feet began to peel, and boy did they peel! Baby soft feet afterwards. Whenever I do one of these, I like to put old socks on over the plastic wrapping to help secure the plastic in place and also give me some freedom to move around without being a huge fall risk. ### ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Love these but...schedule accordingly *by A***R on May 9, 2023* I love these, I use them every couple of months in sandal season and they work as described. However for someone who may be a first time tryer: my experience is there is no discomfort if you can sit still or walk minimally (in your socks over the provided foot baggies to keep them in place) for an hour. After ~the first 1-2 days my feet will start to feel very "chalky" from the inside - I dislike this sensation but I'm ok with dealing with it. When the peeling starts it will peel everywhere the solution contacted - for me even the top of my foot where I don't see a need for peeling (top of my foot looks fine to me) but apparently there's skin up there that's activated by the solution for me. So there are a few days to a week of peeling everywhere including on the top of the foot up to the lower ankle that looks unsightly and can't be hidden unless I'm wearing socks. Not always optimal in summer months, but still worthwhile for me if I plan accordingly. IMO you'll have 1-2 weeks of visual but not physical downtime, so I plan these treatments accordingly. Also it DOES help as others have suggested to soak feet daily for 20-30 minutes after first treatment. If I'm doing this ahead of an event I wouldn't do it closer than 3 weeks out, just to be safe from freakish peeling when wanting to wear sandals. Last fall I absentmindedly scheduled a pedi 10 days after doing these and I still feel badly about how hard the tech tried to remove my peeling skin. I kept trying to stop her but she was persistent !
