When i bought my vacuum i filled out and returned a form that stated i was supposed to receive an extra battery free of charge. i never received it?

I had a similar experience with my V18 purchase, though I was asked to review the product in order to receive the battery pack. I did so but was then informed that no more free batteries were available. A free Pet Brush attachment was offered instead, which I did not accept. I doubt there was ever an intention to provide free batteries for the good reviews.

how do you open the upholstery brush attachment to clean it??

Start with the brush side facing up and the attachment side pointing away from you. On the right side you will see a slotted circular locking mechanism. Use a coin or screwdriver to move the slot to the unlocked position. Rotate the right edge of the attachment up and towards you and slide the side and brush out to the right.
