When you first open this product, it makes you a bit skeptical because it looks hard and cracked, but once you take it out and play with it, it's so amazing. It is sticky when you first play with it so it's best to play with it a bit and fold it into itself several times.I don't think I've felt anything this soft before. Once you fold it into itself several times lightly, it's like you're pushing your hand into cotton that goes on with softness forever.The best part is holding two handfuls in the air and letting it slowly drop to make one sandy looking mound, then pushing your hands into it.My nephews love it. It can make a LITTLE bit of a mess where pieces go here and there but they clean right up when you take a handful of the sand and dab them.Even I play with this stuff every day because it's just so calming and relaxing. This stuff is actually better than kinetic sand. So, if your kids like slime and kinetic sand, this would be the best stuff for them. This is by far the best one out there.It does make a little bit of residue on your hands but it's easy to wash off.

This slimy sand set was a big hit with the kids. The three colors are bright, the texture is soft and stretchy, and it is easy to shape using the included molds. The five-pound quantity provides plenty for group play, and the reusable bucket makes cleanup and storage much easier. It is a fun sensory activity that keeps children entertained and encourages creativity.

This product was amazing! It was so soft and is like cloud slime. It can get on your fingers as you play but all you need is soap and water to clean you hands. It is actually really stretchy and can even make some cracking sounds. I would buy a trillion more of this product. I so recommend buying this product.

I thought there would be more at 5 pounds and I expected it to be more of a runny texture (but that actually wasn’t bad on my end, I just thought my grandson would like it more because he’s a slime freak) but he absolutely loves it! His mom is going to keep adding to it, especially if it doesn’t dry out easy like slime does. I had bought a big long wrapping paper storage bin, put a bunch of individual action figures as well as dirt bikes, 4-wheelers, monster trucks, you name it (most of them were only $1 each at the store) and the bucket of slimey sand all in the bin & wrapped it up. He went crazy!! He was like this is the biggest present ever! And then he wouldn’t let go of it the rest of the night, he was even trying to carry it to the car himself to take it to his great grandmas house (he’s 4 so I had to help him a little on one end and he was like mom out of the way! The giant is coming through and I’ll run over you - woah -as he wobbled). I hope the lid to that container was enough to keep it pliable enough to keep using so we can at least fill up a good bit of half the box & still leave room on the other side for the toys he uses with it. He will never remember to keep putting it back in the bucket, especially because he’s just going to start playing with it again as soon as his hands touch it to put it away but he’s been excellent about keeping every drop in the box AND he’s kept every single toy he uses with it in the empty side of the box. I wish I’d have asked what the texture was after being kept in that container. That will make or break how much we continue to buy in the future. I’ll update as soon as I find out about the storage averages.

My kindergarten kids absolutely love this slime sand. It is easy to play with and easy to clean. Perfect for the classroom.

Look. The idea was there and it was pretty cool. Actually I loved it. Until my kids started playing with it...Look. This stuff is like a total accident turned into a product, like someone poured slippery slime into the kinetic sand and walked away evil-laughing. The stuff doesn't NOT stick to anything. It takes a really long time to wash it out of hair & doesn't just dissipate into oblivion if you try to hose down the driveway (don't you dare think you're making a smarter move by letting them play outside, no place is safe). Its just SO MESSY. So. Messy. We handle messy at my house. We're cool with kinetic sand, we're cool with slime, we're cool with artificial snow, we're cool with clay, we're cool with play doh, we're cool with paint... you get it. But this. So much regret. Like I said. It was super cool until my kids got to play with it (which was almost immediately). I gave it some stars for effort because it was cool for 2 minutes.
