is there a product protection plan available for the cfx3 100?

Good Morning. There is a 5 year limited warranty on the product. For the first 2 years, parts, labor, and freight are covered. For the final 3, only parts are covered.

Strange question, can i fly with this on a plane checked in? Im traveling to the carribean and i want to take one of these with me. Thanks

I am not an airline employee but think this would be a question for the airline. Since it has a compressor and most likely some kind of cooling chemical, it may not be allowed. Plus, you will be paying a bit extra due to size and weight. Good luck and safe trip.

Can you keep a few frozen items on the freezing plate and refrigerate the rest?

Hi. Unfortunately, you wont be able to do this. The CFX3 has an evaporator plate the wraps the entire lining of the cooler walls; this provides equal temperature distribution throughout the interior. We do offer dual zone models in 75L and 95L sizes that have two compartments and allow for simultaneous refrigeration and freezing capacity. Another option would be to consider the 55IM which has a additional rapid freeze plate and could be used to keep a few item frozen.
