Pretty easy job to replace.
This thing saved my butt. Freezer stopped cooling. Replaced the door switch and this temp controller. easy job once the freezer is empty. Watch some you tube videos, you can do it!

Buying cheap parts for an appliance that stores so much valuable food, I lost $500 worh of food.
Thermostat is stuck closed, which means the freezer will run continuously until defrost cycle which m is typically every q2hrs of run time and after defrost run again for 12hrs. Ive tried 2 of this brand and both was defective exactly the same way. 3rd from another seller was also the same. I ORDERED OEM part from Frigidaire and it will be here tomorrow. I will test it before assembly. I am a retired hvac-r business owner and this is an manufacturing problem and quality control must not exist. I will post comment on OEM PART and I hope that its functional. This is sad, the $18-$26 parts are defective.
