I have to say... this is perhaps the BEST DEAL I have seen in locks for a long time!!I bought TWO of these to put on our liquor cabinets where we had some teen visitors snooping around recently.But these excellent, well-built SOLID locks work perfectly to keep them out, without arguments!!I was a bit concerned about just how BIG the pieces were, and if I was going to be able to spare that much room in the cabinet for the main lock part.... But just rethinking the issue, I put the main lock part on the DOOR instead of on the CABINET itself, and that solved the problem nicely.I guess you can do it either way, but this worked out GREAT!I'm very impressed with the concept of those keys or RFID dongles.. as being either a MASTER or a GUEST card/fob.So only the MASTER can program other fobs as well as open the lock; but the GUEST ones can only OPEN things... can't PROGRAM new ones.I decided to see if I could use some of my other RFID cards or fobs with these locks... Nope. Seems they only work with their own. But that's ok... there are FOUR options... two fobs and two cards with each lock. PLUS, if you prefer, you can progam MULTIPLE locks to respond to the same key fob/card. Excellent!So that's just what I did. I went ahead and programmed two or three fobs to have some extras, but I ahve the MASTER card stored in a safe place because only it can reprogram the other cards.Absolutely nifthy... this is a GREAT SET and a super GREAT DEAL! Lock worked great. Good instructions. Had templates for installing the lock on a drop down shelf. However, I couldn't use the templates. Key cards worked great. The initial registration card was setup perfectly and the was able to register the remaining user cards. Also found out, and if I had read all the instructions, leaving the registration card on the lock long enough, it will reset ALL cards, so you will have to go back and reregister them. If battery power is drained too much, it will automatically unlock one time, giving you a chance to replace them.Great product and I would recommend the seller to anyone

After a lot of research and reading the reviews I decided to purchase this RFID lock. I elected to not use battery mode and have it plugged into a power strip. Very easy to program. I struggled a little with getting it lined up after installing my faux mantle however I believe that was due to a slight warp that was moved when screwed in. I advice would be to make sure your project is solid. Easy to use and has been one of the items people like the most

Works exactly as it should and very nice and smooth as well will probably be getting more in the future for other things would highly recommend if your trying to keep valuable,or firearms safe 10/10

I purchased seven of these locks last July 2024 from Amazon after much research. My contractor installed five of them with no issue. After a few months one of the locks failed and I have been locked out of it since then. A month ago a second lock failed and now I am locked out of that as well. Homello, brand, has no communication line to contact to see how to manually get these two drawers to open or an escape hatch.My contractor is now talking about damaging and breaking into the front of the drawer to get it open. The locks were not cheap nor the labor to install, remove and now replacing a brand new, quite expensive, front panel. He does not know if it is eveen possible to break into it. I have regrets but am trying to cause you to think twice about the product.If someone out there knows how to do this, I would be most appreciative if you got in touch with me. Right now I have items in these drawers and no way to get them out. Clearly, I do not recommend this particular brand and would give 0 stars, but that is not possible. The concept is great, the execution very poor.

As much as I like this product, I have to give it a 3 star. I was trying to install this on my wife's vanity mirror as she needs to secure one of the cabinets...Noticed 2 design flaws:- The 2 piece for the lock does not even align, you have to custom elevate one of the piece- You have to use the screws! Not suitable if you have a relatively flat surface as screw will go over your piece. Sure, the tape would work but if you yank it hard enough, you can open it - defeats the purpose :DI was going to return it but I think I can use it for a bigger cabinet. Maybe I'll bump this up to 4 once I get the chance to install. It was a great idea for a product, just the alignment is a big bummer.

Worked perfect in our wall tactical trap. The template that came with it wasn't really user friendly but thankfully the old lock and this locked matched up almost perfect so it was pretty easy to install. Don't forget batteries b4 installing!
