Finally found the one
These are the winners! Iโve tried many pairs of orthopedic type house shoes/slippers. Price was no issue. I needed something to be really comfortable for wearing only in the house. And they needed to be slip on. I tried many pairs of vionics and didnโt like any one bit; yuck. I tried haflingers, which I really loved in several ways BUT they didnโt provide the structured support on top and sides for my problem. I have ankylosing spondylitis which also affects my feet. One foot has messed up joints and bone spurs growing on the side and top. I can no longer go barefoot in home โน๏ธ because having a high arch and walking on tile/hardwood is so painful. In warm months I wear oofoo flip flops which are great. But now in winter I needed warm shoes/slippers that I could wear with socks and throw on quickly. I waited to review. Iโve now been wearing daily for over a month and half. These have a good bottom sole if you want to wear them out to get the mail or whatever. I donโt wear out; Iโm keeping them clean to wear inside on carpet too. They have an arch support, but I do wish it was a higher support( I have a high arch). They have 3 different things you can put it, like layers, to your desired thickness. Very customized. And I love how the top flap has Velcro to adjust the snugness around foot. The top is suede/leather with good structure so my foot is supported on the sides. Very cozy on the inside for winter (although I do wear my Darn tough wool socks). So yes, I have found my house shoes and hope they last several years.

Love these Shoes - Great Repeat Purchase
UPDATE September 7 2023 Just received my 3rd pair of these slippers. They last about 5 years before needing to be replaced. I wear them every day, even in the summer, because the support is so good. Mostly around the house and sometimes in the yard. On rare occasions I have worn them to the grocery store because I forgot to change. The arch support is good, but I add orthotics because I have a very high arch. Keeps my plantar fasciitis under control. Definitely recommend these slippers if you have plantar fasciitis and bone spurs on your heels. In addition to orthotics, I also add J.T.Foote Alaskan Wool Felt Warm & Dry Insoles from Amazon when the original inner soles need replacing. The price has gone up considerably since I bought my first pair, but the comfort is so good, I am willing to pay the difference.ORIGINAL REVIEW Love these because they fit well. I keep them handy to use when I go out. They are sturdy enough for outside use as well as inside slipper use. I did add extra padding because I have bone spurs on both feet. No problem with adding padding. I plan on purchasing another pair or pairs since I like them so well.11/08/2018 - Update: My Orthofeet Charlotte Slippers are still going strong. The fleece is showing wear and tear because they are 5 years old. I have worn them every day, inside, outside, summer and winter, and laundered them inside a pillowcase once or twice a year. I brush out the fleece to fluff it back up. They have held up very well and still give my feet the support and comfort they need. I said I would buy another pair when the time came but the price is now $79.99 instead of $62.00. Big difference, so I am going to keep wearing the old ones for as long as I can. It works out to $16.00 a year if the new slippers last as long as the old ones. I will definitely buy these again just not right now.

Great for people with narrow feet
I have purchased a lot of slippers but these are by far the best I have found. I have narrow feet so being able to Velcro them tighter as they stretch helps out a lot.

Great slippers and highly recommend!!!! Arrived with stain on them though
I'm on day three with these slippers and I am very happy with them! I have severe sarcoid arthritis in my feet and ankles and I am very limited on the shoes I can wear. I cannot walk barefoot under any conditions because of pain and I HAVE to have house shoes. Granted, I am never without pain in my feet, but these slippers definitely help with the early morning stiffness in my feet. I cleaned the house yesterday and wore them pretty much all day without any issues. I read several reviews that stated they were too hard and not enough arch support; I disagree. I have flat feet and again, have severe arthritis in my feet. They are not your typical $10 slippers that have the "memory foam" bottoms. they have a supportive sole and I can see how some would say they are too hard for them. If you're used to wearing cheap and super soft soled slippers, then yes, these will be too hard for you, but if you need great support and something sturdy, then these will be great. As for the arch, it is not a huge arch, but works perfect for me because I have flat feet. Anything higher would just hurt my feet due to the lack of arch in them. The insole is removeable, so if you prefer a better arch, simply put in your own insert. If you do so, you will only lose out on the soft sherpa-like lining that lays on top of the insole. there is about a 1 inch heel on these, but it's more like a raise of the entire slipper than an actual high heel so you don't feel like you're wearing "high heels." I bawked at buying these because there is no back to them and was afraid they would slip off my feet. I can certainly say that they do not slip off my feet, even without socks. There is an adjustable strap on the top that allows you to tighten or loosen the slipper if needed. I gave these 4 stars instead of 5 because they make my feet sweat. These will be great in the winter as I live in Michigan, but for all year round, they're too hot. I'm trading the temperature of my feet for the comfort and pain relief though so I will deal with it or simply wear socks with them. Also, another reason for my 4 stars instead of 5 is because they arrived with a small stain on the top of them. Due to the light brown color and the suede material, the stain is very noticeable. Fortunately, I'm only wearing them in the house and the hassle of returning over a small stain was not worth it to me. However, I am a fan of black and would have loved to have seen these offered in that color; also this color will help to avoid noticing such stains described above :) Please let me know if you offer these in that color in the future, as I will certainly buy them! I will update my review as time goes on if I encounter any problems. Otherwise, I would highly recommend these slippers, especially if you're a foot pain sufferer like me!

Stretch Once Warn
I have used the slippers for roughly 3 months I believe, and have noticed that the support in the footing or the sole of the shoe is lacking after some time and the width of the shoe has widened. I have plantar fasciitis and ordered these specifically to support my feet when Iโm at home. Initially they were perfect; however, overtime they have lost their structure and the support is not as sufficient. Initially my feet were comforted warm and supported, but now Iโm finding that my feet hurt after wearing them for a period of time because of the lack of support because the shoe was worn. The warmth of the shoe is perfect ideal for the winter months. They endured the winter time and were cozy however, I am at the point where Iโm having to get rid of them and find another type of slipper that is more supportive.

Worth the Cost
I have a messed up knee with high arches and always struggled to find shoes let alone something to wear around the house. These are the first pair that I have been able to wear all day, at home, without pain or issue. I was nervous because of the cost but it is 100 percent worth it.
