I use the ground seed in salads and smoothies and find it to be peppery in taste. Searching Amazon I found Tropica's Black Cumin Seed Honey and was curious to try it. It has a wonderfully complex taste with a smokey component. I have been using Trader Joe's Organic Raw Honey but will make Tropica's my go to honey from now on. I am guessing that this honey has some of the same nutritional benefits as the seed itself because of the rich taste and opaque color yet a fraction of the cost of Manuka Honey everyone is touting. If this honey takes off like Manuka, it won't be this cheap for long. Highly recommended!January 2019: I was going to reorder but the price just jumped from $10 to $16 in one day. A 60% increase?
